Legitimately will not give you an accurate temperate, ever. Not on my baby, not on me, not in any position or however you could possibly try. Better off just guessing the temp than using this thing.

Useless produc5 – 10mo after purchase the battery died and after putting in the new one it is no longer accurate if It was EVER accurate. Waste of money, my daughters fever was 38.1 and this unit read 27 degrees Show details

Do not waste your money – Ours is similar to the other reviews always read around 36degrees. 13 months after purchase now no longer works and only displays message “LO”. This has always been stored in its case in the baby change table drawers so has not been exposed to any damage or excessive temperatures. Waste of $80, strongly do not recommend! Show details

If I could give it a zero I would – I’m never usually the one to write reviews, but this product is CRAP!!! My daughter had been sick and the thermometer always read 36 degrees and the doctors read 37.5. Inaccurate readings which could potentially be life threatening. Take this product off the shelves, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Show details

Do not buy! – We bought this one when our daughter was born thinking it was the easiest way to take temperature, however we have been so disappointed. The thermometer has never been accurate. Actually both GP and hospital doctors have recommended against using it! All medical personnel actually recommend using traditional thermometer as it’s more accurate. Do not buy! Better things you can buy for $80! Show details

Dangerous - do not buy this thermometer – I had similar experiences to others reviewers. I bought this product in Feb 2021. I consistently question its reading, it always tells me my toddler is around 36. something, when it feels she's hotter. I go back to our old thermometer under the arm and her temp is always higher. The last straw was yesterday. This product measured her temp as… Read more

being 36.4...after some time I tested her with the under the arm 39.6...she became worse and close to unresponsive, went to hospital and she was recorded as 40.3! Had I trusted the initial 36.4, things would have gone worse. Do not buy this, if you are gifted it, give it back.

Dangerous if you have no experience with baby fevers – My 9mo was running a mild fever but her temp kept coming up as 36.6. She is my 3rd and I felt it was more around the 38C mark so I treated accordingly. We went out the next day and she was burning up, lethargic etc and tested her at the COVID check into the venue and she was 39.2. Got her home so I could get her treated and it said 36.6!!!! Absolutely horrid – I bought this before my baby was born and never needed it. But now felt like my baby had a temp and went to use it the battery was flat. Put a new battery in it and now it's saying all temp are either lo or hi. Utter rubbish. So dangerous. Saying my baby temp was lo (below 20) when temp was actually 39.9!  Show details

Do not buy – We brought this before bubs was born have barely had to use it until now, my 18month old is currently burning up but if I take her temp on her forehead it comes back with a reading of 36.4 which it normally does to myself I'm like that's not right an actual accurate reading and her temp is 38.6 very dangerous how can you still be selling this.

Pathetic and Horrible Product & Services – I had purchased an Oricom Infrared Forehead Thermometer (NFS100) last year in November. It stopped working 3 months ago and initially, I thought it simply needs a battery replacement, albeit because of COVID -19 situation we didn't get a chance to think much about it and replace its battery. Finally, I replaced its battery a few days ago with a… Read more

brand new battery (CR2032) as per the manual. However, it's still not working. I tried following all the instructions given in its user guide but all in vain. It doesn't respond if I press the power button, but if I keep holding the button for a few seconds then it blinks for 2-3 seconds then again goes off. It seems to be a horrible and pathetic product which stopped working after a few months!! Seeing its cost, it's completely unacceptable!!

I've been sending emails to their support continuously for more than a week but no one has acknowledged my emails even once. How pathetic and horrible their products and services are??? I strongly believe they are just waiting for the warranty period to get expired which will happen in a month's time. This is the way they deceive customers by providing this horrid customer service after the purchase.

Completely useless – Bought this online prior to the arrival of my little one. Bub was sick for the first time only recently. Such a dangerous device even when used in accordance with directions. Show details

Completely innacurate and untrustworthy – Have used exactly as directed. Temperature constantly being read at 36.6 on multiple people when babies temp was over 38.3. DO NOT BUY !! DANGEROUS PRODUCT – The worst product I ever bought that is important to track your health. I used this product to track my baby temperature and said it was 36 degree while she was obviously suffering from fever. The doctor used a real thermometer and she was 38.9!!! “Random number generator”, Emergency Doctor 2017 – Our newborn son had his first fever at 3 weeks, or at least that is what this thermometer said. Due to bub’s age, we had to stay in emergency overnight, even though… Read more

Inaccurate and resulted in missing my baby's fever – I received this as a gift, followed the instructions to use this device, and everytime I took my baby's temperature it came up as 36.7. After not feeling right about the result, I took my baby to the doctor, and he had a fever of 37.5 - not huge, but when you depend on a device for accuracy, this is simply unacceptable.

You can loose your child while trusting to this thermometer! – I used Oricom NFS100 for the first time today. It was showing 36.2 on my boy's forehead all evening. I got a bit concerned, why my boy got so heavy breath? I found our old electronic under arm thermometer which is more than 6y old. It ran up in no time to 38.8. I can't describe level of my anger at the moment!

Be very careful about the recorded temperature, it might be much lower than it should be – My family got this for the baby, so I purchased one too from Baby Bunting $50 weeks ago. It’s easy to be used but I am in doubt about its accuracy; the temperature has been always on the lower side ( 36C mark ). I am a Health Profession and really not very certain about the accuracy. Buyer please be very caution. PS: The device has a low battery signal even on the first day after purchase.

Dangerously inaccurate! – We have had this thermometer for less than 2 years, it seemed to be working more or less well/accurately till this morning when I took my baby to the GP to realize she had a fever of 39 degrees whereby this thermometer indicated a steady 36.2 ...a real difference which could have put my bubby in danger! Not bad – The beeping can be abit loud in this thermometer if your baby is not in a deep sleep or is a light sleeper it might wake your baby up. But it holds last few readings and is definitely easy enough to use and clean. Over all happy with my purchase
