It burned my face!! Totally fooled by the “organic” advertising and pushy sales person. Stupidly spent $150 on a product that on first try, left me with burnt skin on my jawbone. Followed the instructions, massaging a small amount for ten seconds and these tiny, rubbery balls started to form and stick to all my fine hair on my face. It said to… Read more

avoid areas with hair, which I assumed meant my eyebrows as I don’t have a lot of facial hairs except for those fine ones that everyone has. The rubbery plastic balls were completely attached to my fine hairs on my face and absolutely impossible to get off, even with water. Four days later and my skin is all dark, sandpaper like and the burns are starting to turn into scabs. Totally dangerous product! Avoid at all costs!

Pushy Sales Staff – My mother (in her 70’s) purchased the Origani Erda Peel for me. She was travelling in Melbourne when she passed the sales staff and they lured her in. Before she knew what was happening the staff person was putting the product on her hand, and then told her that for 1 day only they were offering a half price sale for only $100. The product might… Read more

be ok, but any positives are overshadowed by the pushy staff and their conning techniques. I would not buy this product - purely for the bad service from Origani staff.

Conning pensioner – Sales assistant in Rundle Mall, Adelaide bailed up my 85 y/o mother who was out with her carer and has dementia. By some slight of hand my mother was relieved of $400 for two products. Hard to imagine anyone with any moral or ethical fibre would sell exfoliant to a vulnerable pensioner who clearly doesn’t know what she is doing. Shame on you Origani. The adverse reactions to your products seem to be being triggered by your sales tactics. Show details

Just say no – To be honest, I'm annoyed at some of the people on here complaining about being forced into buying this product or aggressive sales people. The sales lady I had was not aggressive, but yes persistent though not to the point where I was annoyed. I've often been approached by these types of sales people and not bought the product. complaining, take responsibility for your own actions. We're all adults and can say "no thank you". I bought the product because both my husband and I could see a distinct difference on the side of my face the lady used it on, not because of any pressured sales tactics.

Please educate your sales staff – Full disclaimer, I did not purchase this product and for the following reasons; I'm no stranger to skincare sales people, however I was shocked at how pushy the staff I encountered was. He told me that this honey peel was going to fix all my skin problems, telling me that my skin feels dry and this honey peel will fix it, reverse aging, along… Read more

with getting rid of my acne HOWEVER I a teenager with clear skin that is VERY well hydrated, thanks to a combination of good genetics and a thorough understanding of the human skin and skincare. Genuinely offended.

The sales staff was factually incorrect. He applied the peeling mask to my hand as a demo explaining that you use it once a week and rub it in until you see the dead skin pill up as it was doing on my hands. Naturally I got excited and asked about the ingredients. I am actually a strong believer in chemical peels. AHA breaks down the ceremides holding the top layer or dead skin together, hence AHA is unlikely to over exfoliate or cause irritation. I asked if this product contains alpha hydroxy acid as a question that I knew the answer to because raw honey does naturally contain AHA. He then very quickly turned that down and said no, the product is all natural. Please educate your staff. He instructed me to feel the difference in my skins texture between my right hand in which he'd used the chemical peel and my left hand which he hadn't used anything on (a very common practise. Nothing wrong with that), however he proceeded to tell my my left hand feels dry and unpleasant unlike my right hand which now feels soft and supple. I did note that my right hand feels slightly more moisturised, like all skin would after you put something wet on it (my sister and I had a bit of a laugh out of that comment. So I can't say the entire experience was bad). The soft suppleness left by the peeling gel felt like any humectant. I'm fully aware that honey is a humectant but I asked the sales staff about any added humectants such as hylauronic acid or polyglutamic acid contained in the product and he again reiterated that the product is all natural. (The product contains glycerine. Absolutely nothing wrong with this, but the sales staff lied. Most likely because he's completely uneducated about what he's selling)

As pushy as the sales staff are, I could not justify paying anyone who insults my skin or spreads lies as such. I don't believe the product is genuinely bad in any sense, HOWEVER, it is false advertising. I don't think this product is best suited to students as it's very highly priced and frankly unnecessary for younger people as there are plenty of other options that are far more affordable. Less luxurious for sure but they all do the same thing in the end. Out of frustration and curiousity, I did find the ingredients list online. So much for the product being all natural. The second and third ingredient after water, is completely synthetic. There is absolutely nothing wrong with synthetic materials, infact they're often far more reliable and far less irritating. Carbomer and cetrimonium chloride are both completely safe. Cetrimonium chloride is commonly found in hair conditioners. I was impressed with the luxurious feel of the peeling gel, however it is out of my price range. I am not hateful of the product itself in any manner, infact I am one to admire the hard work of a product formulator, and I do not think any hate should be brought to the chemists who created the formulation, but I do think staff must be far better educated.

As a science nerd, I never expect staff to know as much as I do about anyone specific chemical becuase their job is to know more about the product range more broadly, however for such a luxury brand, I was very strongly disappointed in the lack of knowledge by staff. The key product that you're trying to bring the most attention to, should be well understood by all staff. It shows a lack of care and is very sad to see staff only want to sell you the product, even when it's not something your skin needs. Your skin is an organ. Never over do skincare as it will cause more damage than good.

No mention of sun protection was made either. I find it sickening that a peeling product can be marketed with no disclaimer that it causes photosensitivity. Anyone who uses an exfoliating products must use sunscreen everyday for at least two weeks after the usage of exfoliation because your skin is left very very vulnerable. I use sunscreen everyday, so this would not have been a personal issue, but I am genuinely concerned for your customers who spend large amounts of money for results, without knowing they are digging themselves into a hole. With proper sun protection, I think this peeling gel is quite nice. Again not for me, but I have nothing against it, but I really cannot reiterate enough how desperately Origani really needs to educate staff better.

Good luck with future sales. Please anyone who purchased this product, protect your skin from the sun. Glass blocks UVB but not UVA.

Product good.Sales person not good – Product is fantastic. But the sales Rep/Manager at River link made an extremely good sale just would not take no for further product sales.Very rude To the point of nearly asking him to refund the sales. Intimidating Sales Tactics – Was walking through Castle Towers when a woman asked to see my nails, I was a little shocked and not sure what was happening before I knew it I had a free sample in my hand and she was rubbing cream on my wrist. She was up in my face telling me how good the product was and how it will help get rid of the redness etc. I just wanted to get away… Read more

but she kept going on and on and said you spend $70 every few weeks on your nails, this will last you 1 year and so cheap in comparison, don't you want to look after yourself and your skin. I thought I just have to buy this and get away, in hindsight I should have just walked away. I bought the peel, at a "discounted" price, and thought I am home free but no, then she asked if I get enough sleep and of course I stupidly said no and so she then grabbed the eye cream and started to apply it to my eye. I said I am not buying anything else I have to go but she kept on with the sales pitch and then she applied a serum and then showed me the difference and to wait until morning to see how much difference it makes, I said yes it was great but I am not buying anything else right now, I will think about it and come back in a few days (of course I had no intention of coming back) but then she said she really liked me and really wants to help me and she will give me a special discount but don't tell anyone, I still said no and then she said would give me the student discount (I am 60 years old). I have no idea if these products are any good but beware of their sales tactics, don't be afraid to just walk away, they try to befriend you and make you feel obliged to buy, be strong just say no and walk away and never ever accept the free sample they try to hand you as you are walking by. I was back in Castle Towers a few days later and was more alert and kept my distance from their pop-up store.

pricey ($165), but he did not accept that. He said ‘let me see what i can do!’ and then offered me a discounted price. Again, i said i would have a think about it and come back. He then pressured me further by saying he would take it down to $120 for me only. Again, i said i would think about it and possibly come back. He insisted that he would be gone very soon so for the discount i need to get it now. He also asked other strange questions including my age (i am only 18!) and if i have a boyfriend. What was really creepy was he then whispered in my ear “do you want a sexy bag for it or a fancy bag”. I felt so uncomfortable and awkwardly laughed and saying the fancy one. I never even agreed on getting the product before he started putting it into the bag. I then felt the only way to get out of this situation was to just buy it so i did. I had been completely manipulated. I went to my car and i just couldn’t leave the shopping centre as i knew what happened was so wrong and i didn’t actually want the product nor could i afford it. I looked up reviews debating whether i should return it and saw the reviews on this website. So many people with such similar experiences! I knew it was so wrong and unethical so i gathered the courage and returned it to him. I feel so much better now. Lesson learnt!

She ended up testing this product on my hand and I was moderately impressed but told her I couldn’t afford it. That’s when she offered me a free facial, and I told her no I can’t I have to take my kids home. She walked over to her boss and whispered soemrhing to him and then comes back to me and she literally takes her phone asked for my NUMBER and says she will text me so I have a way to contact her and book in for a free facial when I’m kid free. I foolishly believed her and gave into her pressuring and bought the stupid product hoping to at least get a nice facial out of it. Sure enough I text her the next day to book in a time and no reply. This product made my skin worse – I'm from the Philippines and this product from Australia or owned by an Israeli made my skin worse. I was walking in the mall with my friend and suddenly a lady appeared to my side in front of their shop holding a small teaspoon or whatever you call it with a product on it and started applying something on my skin. My friend told me to ignore, but… Read more

ignored my friend instead of the sales woman. So we found ourselves sitting on their lobby while the sales woman who approached me continuously applying the thing onto my hand and showed me how the first layer of dead skin cells were removed. She applied it to my friend as well, who gave me disgusting looks. So this material is so damn expensive yet I bought it because they promised to change and improve my skin. I'm suffering for pimple breakouts for several years now. Having sensitive skin, I only use Cetaphil as my partner soap. And Micellar toner. Nothing more. My face didn't have pimples for the longest time and I was happy about it since I was able to control it, until this Manuka thing came to my life. It's disgusting how they keep lowering the price from ₱6,000 plus to ₱4,000 just for me to get it. The sales woman told me "Sir, this is the first time I'm doing this but I'm going to give this for you at a lower price. Not only that, you can have you free facial today as well. I'm also giving this voucher to you for next month so that you can avail the free facial. Sir, this is the first time I'm doing this and I'll only do it for you since my boss is not here".

"Wow!" I uttered inside my head. "What a nice woman she is". Of course, because I'm stupid and gullible. Then, her assistant was like "imagine that sir". It feels like I owe her something for giving that magical voucher to me. She even showed me pictures of some of her clients. The before and after pics that represents how changed they are right now. So, next I found myself in front of their cashier and swiping my debit card. It actually failed twice then I told her to try it again bypassing the PIN. Woah! It worked. I was charged. How the heck didn't I listen to my guardian angel who was trying to save me at that very moment? I found myself next lying on their bed and one of their therapist working on my free facial. She was kind and nice though but I hate the fact that she didn't wear some gloves and keep touching my face with her bare hands. She even mentioned she ate nuts before that. I wonder if she washed her hands though? So unpro. Not sure if I'm gonna user their soap made from the Dead Sea.

She had no respect for my boundaries and did not adhere to covid rules. Her mask was down under her nose and she kept grabbing my arm and hand and sat way too close. As she figured out she wasn't going to get a sale from me she became visibly angry and rude. Very manipulative behaviour all round. I am very well educated in psychopathy and abuse and she was employing psychopathic techniques in order to try to make a sale. I was not impressed and I felt grubby and violated from the experience. I contacted organi again as I went to a beautician to analyse my skin, my skin was burnt from the products, I contacted organi again mentioning I would like to return the products and have my money refunded and how terrified I am of the products. I got an email back saying sorry and to come in store for a free facial, I thanked you for the facial and declined as I do not wish to use any of their products on my face. 6 months later origani have not made any contact or resolved this matter. You are more than happy to take someones money but you are not happy to resolve or refund when the product is not suited for someone. I have now paid another $2800 to get my skin back to how it was before using your products.

Pushy sales guy in Sydney (Parramatta Westfield) but great product! – Pushy sales guy in Sydney (Parramatta Westfield) but great product! My bad I rubbed it hard on my face and skin peeled lot more lol .. so just rub gently. Has made a lot of difference to my pores and overall complexion. I use it once a week. Long lasting and worth the buy. Still I would say it’s expensive! Got it for $80 or so. Please bring down the price in light of you having pushy sales people and negative feedbacks below Show details
