I don't normally write reviews, but this experience just kind of blew me away to be honest. This is not an inherently bad product, but the way it was being sold to me was awful. Very pushy woman who would not take no for an answer even after saying I was in a hurry 'if the product feels good on your skin why are you not buying it??', and happily went on about how large my pores were. If anyone from this company happens to be reading this, please discourage this behaviour from your salespeople. First impressions matter a lot, and unfortunately this experience became my first impression of your company. It has soured my view of the brand and I can see that I'm not the only one who has encountered similar.

Sales person Mario was great, he explained the product and the benefits of regular use. After the trial use, my skin felt good, hopefully after a couple of weeks the benefits are visible. Purchased at Pacific Fair Shopping Center Gold Coast.

The approach technique used by your consultant at Westfield Geelong was what I found to be very suggestive to myself. One comment was Would I rather the product or himself. I also find it very concerning the difference in pricing that people get offered for the product at different stores reading other reviews . I was told for $200 I could get the Manuka gel. Online at origani it's $165. On eBay it's $140. I was also offered the same product from the consultant for $100 dollars as the box it was in had a little mark on it .
Hi, I want to support [name removed] comments and endorse everything she has written in her review. I was unlucky enough to come across the same saleswoman at Bergamo airport, with the same sales pitch and bizarre approach. I felt totally belittled, patronised and taken for a ride. Shame really as I could have quite liked the product. For sure I will never fall for this trick again!
Purchased in November 2019 at Bergamo airport for $160.00.
Best exfoliator/natural skin peel on the market!
Removes all dead skin quickly and effectively in seconds, leaving healthy youthful skin that is soft & hydrated.
As a Beauty Therapist..this is the best & most effective natural exfoliator on the market!
I have sensitive skin...no reaction at all.
Worth every cent!
Purchased in January 2019 at Origani for $160.00.
love this product was really surprise
won this in a competition, was really surprise how well it worked, great results, not a big honey user, but great results was very surprise, i have very sensitive skin
Dangerous mental salespeople.
I was approached by this woman at the airport who made me buy the honey when I simply said "ok" to another question. She prepared the package and gave it to me. At that point I was like.. Alright. I was stupid and bought it. After this, she's like "you're so lucky because today we have our acne expert here with us! " , this italian-canadian very mean lady who tried at all costs to sell me anything else she could, even trying to play with my psychology. She lied about her position, said that she works at the Canadian embassy and that she was the...re because she wants everyone to have perfect skin. Then she goes like "my husband is a psychiatric, I can read you. You suffered a lot from the past. Your mom loves you but envies you at the same time, she's jealous of your youth" At that point I was total what the hell and left. These people are dangerous, this brand should shut down. Please share the message.
Purchased in December 2019 at Milan bergamo airport for $100.00.
It makes me itchy and tingly
I was lured in too. They took the make up off one side of my face and told me how much dirt was coming out of my pores. Since I been using it I have not noticed the same result instead I have had a very bad reaction. My face goes all tingly and really itchy. I’ve also been breaking out in little spots around my mouth. Very confused and annoyed when you look at how much they have charged me.
The Manuka honey gel is so amazing, I couldn't believe the results after even just one try. I was shown the product from Tom who was so lovely and down to earth, very honest and friendly.

"No chemical used, completely all natural" Erm...
Pls teach your sales people not to say that. Its REALLY unintelligent and complete untrue. Its a "peel". I believe the correct cosmetic term is "chemical peel". Even everyday shampoo, toothpaste etc have chemicals in them. Chemical isn't all bad, depends on how you use it. My inner arm actually feels a bit irritated( tingles) after demo but I was too shy to say anything. Also, all the products are a bit pricey and sales people is somewhat pushy.

At the store, I was shocked to see so many selling tricks being played on you. The have so many tricks to make you buy their products including misrepresenting their position at store, offering discounts, misleading, suggestive comments.
Purchased in December 2019 for $202.00.
The product itself is ok, standard peel cleanser. Haven't used it long enough to notice long term results yet.
I was made to feel uncomfortable by the sales guy at the Auckland store though. Every couple of seconds I had something complimented. Combined with the physical closeness of demonstrating the product including touching legs, I felt like I was at a bar. He then gave me his number and offered a free facial treatment which he would personally do. I would have liked a free facial but obviously wasn't going to take him up on that and now I walk on the opposite side of the street to avoid the store.
I get that sales teams are meant to make the customer feel good but tone it down please?
Purchased in September 2019.
Same thing happened to me today at Garden City. Asked me about my current products, im using ultraceiticals which I love, told me how bad they are etc... He Took off my makeup On one side of my face without asking. Flicked through photos on his phone To show me before & afters of other people using product but was too quick for me to see so I couldnt get a proper look. Gave me his number and email address, i guess thats all part of the sales spiel, so you feel you can trust them. I had a bad gut feeling about this. Plus he lied to me and told m...e he would give me samples if I would give him a moment to talk about the products but he never did. I didnt want to stop in the first place as I was in a rush to leave the centre, a great way to lure someone in.
I'm not really happy
I was shopping at the Melbourne Central Shopping Centre and there was this guy who just stopped me and asked me what products i use for my skin. I told him and he was like let me show you some stuff. He didn't really give me a chance to back off. He showed me two products that could really help me with my skin and make me feel better and this and that.. and in the end i bought them and i though alright that's it thank you. So i was packing my stuff and he was like nah sit down i want to show you more things. So then he showed me more products a...nd said: "without these products i'm showing you right now you're not gonna make your skin look better." I was questioning that because i already bought 2 things which he told me would help my skin condition improve. He kept talking and talking and to be honest he was wasting my time. He also said he will give me products for free because he really wants that i use those products so my skin gets better. He also said that he is the manager of the store which i didn't really believe. I ended up buying all the products because he made everything way more cheaper then it was (or he pretended it was) and also gave me some stuff for free. He also gave me his number in case i have questions. now. i think all of it was a scam. I'm Swiss and he was like: "ah all Swiss People are rich haha" which is not true! He also said that his skin used to look bad but not as bad as mine is and that hurt me a little? And i feel like he was trying to scare me with those pictures he showed me from people with pimples and scares and disgusting pores and stuff and he was like this is what's gonna happen if you don't use those products. also after reading all reviews i have to say that i really regret that i bought this stuff. i could go on but this is getting too long. let's see how i feel after i use them.

Pushy & Offensive Staff
I was this morning doing some shopping at Westfield in Geelong, when I was grabbed by one of the pop up shops staff who abruptly asked me if I used skin care products on my face .. I was a bit taken aback as my skin breaks out at certain times through the month, and this hormonal acne albeit reasonably mild is something that I cannot help and feel extremely self conscious about. I replied with yes I use products that have been specifically recommended to me by a dermatologist, he said no no and then muttered something about them not being that...good. I told him that they were actually quite expensive products that were prescribed by a qualified person, before I knew what was happening he was pulling me over putting something on my hand telling me about this natural product that is so much better and that I have dead skin on my face and the reason my products dont work is because of that .. again I was offended by his abrupt words .. after more muttering and telling me how wonderful the product was he just said so you are going to buy? I said no I already have skin care products, he then was so rude and dismissive as if I had wasted his time when in fact he had wasted mine .. please teach your staff to not be so rude to people and insult them, he never once took the time to ask what my skin was like just making assumptions, if someone had of asked me what type of skin I have, what my concerns were with my skin and then recommend products to suit this I would have been more than happy to listen, but they are not trained professionals and even if they do have knowledge in skin care they certainly dont have it in customer service.
Please educate your sales staff.
Full disclaimer, I did not purchase this product and for the following reasons;
I'm no stranger to skincare sales people, however I was shocked at how pushy the staff I encountered was. He told me that this honey peel was going to fix all my skin problems, telling me that my skin feels dry and this honey peel will fix it, reverse aging, along with getting rid of my acne HOWEVER I a teenager with clear skin that is VERY well hydrated, thanks to a combination of good genetics and a thorough understanding of the human skin and skincare. Genuinel...y offended. The sales staff was factually incorrect. He applied the peeling mask to my hand as a demo explaining that you use it once a week and rub it in until you see the dead skin pill up as it was doing on my hands. Naturally I got excited and asked about the ingredients. I am actually a strong believer in chemical peels. AHA breaks down the ceremides holding the top layer or dead skin together, hence AHA is unlikely to over exfoliate or cause irritation. I asked if this product contains alpha hydroxy acid as a question that I knew the answer to because raw honey does naturally contain AHA. He then very quickly turned that down and said no, the product is all natural. Please educate your staff. He instructed me to feel the difference in my skins texture between my right hand in which he'd used the chemical peel and my left hand which he hadn't used anything on (a very common practise. Nothing wrong with that), however he proceeded to tell my my left hand feels dry and unpleasant unlike my right hand which now feels soft and supple. I did note that my right hand feels slightly more moisturised, like all skin would after you put something wet on it (my sister and I had a bit of a laugh out of that comment. So I can't say the entire experience was bad). The soft suppleness left by the peeling gel felt like any humectant. I'm fully aware that honey is a humectant but I asked the sales staff about any added humectants such as hylauronic acid or polyglutamic acid contained in the product and he again reiterated that the product is all natural. (The product contains glycerine. Absolutely nothing wrong with this, but the sales staff lied. Most likely because he's completely uneducated about what he's selling) As pushy as the sales staff are, I could not justify paying anyone who insults my skin or spreads lies as such. I don't believe the product is genuinely bad in any sense, HOWEVER, it is false advertising. I don't think this product is best suited to students as it's very highly priced and frankly unnecessary for younger people as there are plenty of other options that are far more affordable. Less luxurious for sure but they all do the same thing in the end. Out of frustration and curiousity, I did find the ingredients list online. So much for the product being all natural. The second and third ingredient after water, is completely synthetic. There is absolutely nothing wrong with synthetic materials, infact they're often far more reliable and far less irritating. Carbomer and cetrimonium chloride are both completely safe. Cetrimonium chloride is commonly found in hair conditioners. I was impressed with the luxurious feel of the peeling gel, however it is out of my price range. I am not hateful of the product itself in any manner, infact I am one to admire the hard work of a product formulator, and I do not think any hate should be brought to the chemists who created the formulation, but I do think staff must be far better educated.

Will the Manuka honey peal get rid of black heads on my nose??
Thank you for your question. The Origani Erda Manuka Honey Peel eliminates dirt and excess oils from the skin, so can assist in clearing up blackheads, breakouts and open pores. It also helps fight the ageing process, reduces inflammation, brighten pigmentation and allows your skin to breathe.
It is best to use this once a week, apply a thin layer all over your face (avoiding the hairline), massage until you feel the dead, dry & flaky skin cells coming out, then rinse it off with water.
Thanks again for getting in touch. Please let us know if you have any further questions at this stage.
Have a great day!

I purchased the Manuka Honey Peel recently and used it for the first time today. It applied really well, the coolness of the gel was most refreshing. However, on (maybe) the jowels of my face (lower cheeks maybe), the gel has stuck to the fine hairs on my face and I am having difficulty getting the residue off my face/the hairs. I have tried using warm water on a face cloth and my tulle ball but to no good effect. Do you have a suggestion for me please as it looks unsightly and feels dreadful.
Also, my grandaughter threw away the packaging and the directions for use, as there are no directions on the bottle, could you please supply another set of instructions?
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and your feedback. This is a common occurrence with the Manuka Honey Peel, one of our most popular products. The residue is a result of two compounds within the product, that when combined through the friction of application, ball together attaching to excess oil and dirt on the skin. Because this intensive dual-phase skin exfoliating formula, the product cannot contact any facial hairs because it will stick to them.
Please see instructions below:
Focus the product on the cheeks, forehead and chin where exfoliation is mostly needed. Ensure that the peel is applied for maximum 10 seconds before rinsing off thoroughly.
If the peel does contact any facial hairs, apply a small amount of olive oil to the area with a cotton pad, massage over the skin to loosen the residue and wipe off.
