UNCOMFORTABLE mattress and POOR customer service – The mattress was comfortable for the first 11-12 months and then we noticed the sagging starting. We rotate the mattress every month religiously. The sides of the mattress has started to pile away also. I'm actually sleeping in the spare room now due to severe back aches/pain. The mattress was recommended by the staff at AMART. They… Read more
sent a rep out to check the mattress out who admitted that he has no expertise in the field (grrrrrr - waste of my time) The company don't want to know about our problem so we are taking legal action. Never again will I buy this brand. Why have a guarantee!!!
VERY DISAPPOINTED INDEED!!!
Loved it since I bought it and 1 1/2 years later still do – For the first week I thought I may have chosen too firm, but it it was feeling as amazing as the one I tried in store shortly after. Every time I get into bed I express my happiness with an audible "Aaaahhhhh". I feel supported, and my sleep is deep and without interruption (I had always been a fairly restless sleeper). I initially had some heat… Read more
issues, but discovered it was a lower quality mattress protector that I was using was the cause. I have a great protector now and still love my mattress which I have had for a little over 1 1/2 years. We still rotate the mattress (recommended) I think this helps the way it wears.
it's the worst mattress ever – brought this mattress over year ago, i wake up every day with pain plus i can't lift the mattress to tuck in my sheets let alone turning every other month because it's way to heavy. can't get a replacement as i have gone pass my 180 nights....something has to be done these mattress's are so wrong. . Really good nights sleep – I purchased this to replace my 9 year old Sealy Posture Premiere Mattress which I believe is a fairly basic model. I had never heard of Orthokinetic and was a bit cautious going with an unknown brand but this came highly recommended by a family member. We tried the Plush, Medium and Support variants of the Ultra Stratus but in the end went with… Read more · 1
Support as there was adequate cushioning and it did not leave me sinking into the mattress excessively which can make it hard to move whilst sleeping. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the firmness options as from what I could see, the cushioning thickness looks to be the same but its the denseness of the cushioning that differs. I have now had the opportunity to sleep on this for a few weeks and can say that my wife and I have had no pains or discomfort, in fact we have slept really well. The mattress is quite dense compared to my previous one and feels very sturdy. What I do like about this is that my body movements, including getting into the bed, does not affect my wife's side of the bed. My old mattress used to move around and disrupt my wife's sleep whenever I got into bed later in the night. Also the mattress seems to adapt to the shape of my body well. I can feel my shoulders and bottom sink further into the mattress whilst my spine receives adequate support. There is nowhere on my body that feels any points of pressure which is exactly what you want from a mattress of this price point. It is a very hot summer in Sydney as I write this and we have found that the mattress does not make us feel excessively hot or retains heat. It's about the same as our or Sealy in this respect which was pretty good. Overall we a very happy with the purchase and would recommend the Ultra Stratus to anyone that likes a firmer (not hard) yet comfortable mattress for a good nights sleep.
