Terrible mattress. We were assured this mattress that we laid on in the shop was the one. What we laid on at AMART and what we got are worlds apart even after one month, it is nothing like we tried. We were told it would soften. Let me assure you it has not. It certainly is not worth the money we paid. DO NOT believe the reviews you see online. I’ve owned several mattresses from other brands over the years, used in similar conditions, and never once had mould issues. To see this happen with a supposedly high-quality mattress in such a short time is deeply concerning.
I contacted Amart to raise the issue and was told it’s not covered under warranty, which I understand. But honestly, that misses the point. A mattress developing mould after only three years of normal use feels completely abnormal and unacceptable. This is something no customer should have to deal with, especially when it involves hygiene and health.
For a brand that claims comfort, support, and quality, this experience has been a huge letdown. I’ve lost confidence in Orthokinetic and feel worried for anyone else who might face the same issue. I would not buy this brand again, and I cannot recommend it.

I discovered that the bottom of the mattress is damaged, and I found that the internal filling may use recycle textile materials (possibly offcuts or reused fabrics) , which may have health implications. I have already filed a complaint with Amart. I am now seeking a refund and have also lodged a complaint with the ACCC.

supporting evidence all over again. Then I had to wait for an inspector to come to tell me it isn’t a manufacture issue that it sags in the middle, like I haven’t had a mattress before. I followed all the instructions for rotating the mattress and don’t weigh much (65kg standing) nor do I sit in the bed at all. Still it sinks in the middle and I am now stuck with an overpriced bed that makes me roll in to the middle and gives back pain unless I stick something there with the friendly customer service advice of make sure to keep rotating the mattress and sleep on the sides. Seriously.
It sags even with a great bed base, my old mattress of over 10years I replaced had better support than this one after a year. It doesn’t stay like it does so I repeat - please save your money and buy a better bed and go to a better COMPANY. Note how this model is conveniently discontinued too now after I have been told it’s not their fault. Ha funny that.

Stitching is all coming apart and when using the purpose build handles (which were used as a selling point by amart) to move the mattress the whole side of the mattress tore open. They will happily fix the mattress if I send them more money.
Appalling customer service. Do not waste you money. This was sold to us with a 15 year guarantee and then I was told by the company 'you purchased this in 2017' last I checked that is not 15 years ago. Amart don't care at all after they have made a sale. Amart tell lies and give fake guarantees when making sales. Not only will i never purchase a matress from this company again i will never shop at Amart. Sad to have to take the issue to ACCC to seek resolution.

on less frequently and has not slightly flattened from use so a conscious effort is made to sleep over that part.
So far there is no hardness anywhere and there is no regret whatsoever from buying this mattress. The only reason for not giving five stars is the slight flattening after 18 months however I do not know the usual time frame that it takes to for cushioning to start to flatten.
Best ever – We've had our mattress for 6 years now and it's still as comfortable as the day we got it. Ever time we go away we look forward to getting back into our bed 10/10

Don’t buy this mattress, I used it for 2 years and my back was the worst it has ever been, it sunk 3 months after buying, the top half has cratered and feels like your sleeping on a slope, I wish I never wasted the thousands of dollars, I moved and put it in storage, now using it again I can’t wait to buy another mattress. return process has been an even bigger headache—unresponsive customer service and a ton of hoops to jump through. For $3000, I expected quality and comfort, not chronic back pain and sleepless nights. Easily the worst money I’ve ever spent. I can’t wait to get rid of this thing.

Please take your hard earned dollar else where! – The Ultra plus mattress is super soft for the first few minutes then you sink in about 10cm into the latex top, it’s like sleeping in a gutter with your feet, arms and head are back at the original mattress height. The mattress holds the heat and I wake up sweating nightly (I live in southern Tas) so it would be an elevated issue in warmer Australian states. I’m sorry to say I don’t have one good thing to say about the mattress, it’s a very regrettable purchase. I’m 74kg with no injuries and now I have terrible sleep.

difference in density and I'm still waking up in pain. Asst. Manager at Super Amart response initially was to tell me the staff who served me on both occasions didn't know what they were talking about. One not normally being a sales person! Incredulous that this manager deemed it ok to speak so poorly of his staff and to tell me that it would take 3 months to break in (that was never mentioned by staff who are clearly not trained up to work in that area of shop). sagging causes significant back pain. I wrote to the customer service along with the images (attached here). The answer I got is it is the the sag has to be 40mm without weight to qualify for the warrantee which never even mentioned before in their guarantee card. Imagine if the sag is 40mm without weight, what could happen while sleep on it, perhaps you need to call Ambos to lift you from the mattress. Customer service guys don't even have the patience to check all the images you provide but keep asking for the similar images. Ultimately they don't want to replace the mattress once it is sold and you buy at your risk. Do not believe the warrantee that they claim to provide you. The one star I have given because I had no other option, don't take this star as approval. I would like to add here the few lines from the latest reply from the customer service team. “Please note body indentations are a normal occurrence in a new mattress and indicates that the upholstery layers are conforming to the individual owner’s body shape.” Hello, are you serious?? So your mattress is trying to adjust to the individual owner's body even after 6 years? So, the teething problems will continue till the warranty period expires? "“Your mattress has been designed for use with an Orthokinetic foundation or base for maximum support. Damage caused by the use of the mattress with an inappropriate foundation, bed furniture, or incorrect timber slat positioning is not covered under this guarantee”, So you are trying to say that buy more of our products and get cheated.

Warranty claim is absolute rubbish. You send all these photos to them for them to reject it anyway.

Hard to buy bed sheets for as its so darn tall (40cm or higher fitted sheets required). However after four years of rotating twice monthly, its developed a ridge in the middle that's more like the a mountain range. My wife and I have constant neck and back pains. I like sleeping on my side and constantly waking up with a sore neck and shoulders. Its simply too uncomfortable to try and sleep in the middle on the ridge. Reading reviews here, It looks we have as much chance of getting a warranty claim as we do finding Harold Holt. Not a terrible result all things considered for the price. during the pandemic. My husband and I swapped the room and have been using a queen bed since then. Now I have moved to my new house and have been using this bed for last month, despite not being using for the years, it so soft and shaggy that I, my husband and my son cannot lay on it together. It is extremely soft and me and my partner both have been complaining about lower back pain. Also, unlike our other queen mattress, we feel extremely hot at night on this Orthokinetic Granuer matteress.
Bought for $2099 from the Springvale store. Worst Mattress. The queen mattress I bought for $1000 is 100% better than this. Orthonetic is only the brand, no quality.

advised that this is a plush mattress and saying that if you are finding a spot on the mattress uncomfortable then move onto and sleep in a different spot- what a bizarre response!! Looking at other responses it just looks like they will not take responsibility for a bad product. This mattress has not been damaged and sits on a sturdy bed base.

than when we went to bed sore in body parts we forgot we had. I thought about doing a warranty claim until I read reviews on that process which basically seem like smoke and mirrors. I am surprise some has taken the brand over the number of poor reviews and poor warranty support. We have gone and purchased a mattress in a box for a 3rd of the price of this piece of rubbish and we are sleeping so much better. The problem is we are out of pocket for this crap and have to now rid rid of it. Just do yourself a favour and avoid the same disappointment. Look at the many other brands.
