Terrible Customer Service – Terrible customer service. We sent are goods in South Europe and they lost 2 boxes. Also the delivery had a delay 3 months. The missing boxes had value things for us. we received any call back, or email to provide help. Also we paid extra for their insurance but even their insurance makes to us problems . They tried to avoid our problem. Not to pay. Its already 5 months and the problem with the missing items still there.

We are very disappointed with this company. No professional, no respect, no communication

Distressing – My main gripes with this company is that I had to take time off work twice to get my furniture as the truck they used didnt fit everything in. the company twice and got no response. Then i phoned the company and alerted them to this fact. They said that they would look for my boxes and call back. They didnt. I think I called them four times and was basically told the crew knows that my things are missing, dont bother calling back, they will motify me if my things turn up. Not good enough, im dismayed and disappointed that with the amount of money paid, that this company is not professional enough to track all my possessions. The items were ticked off as arriving in Australia, so they have lost them. I hold no hope of being united with my precious items, some of which were purchased overseas in Mexico are are irreplaceable. I have been offered no appology, and no follow-up. Its simply not good enough.Theres next to no customer service.

Heed the warnings - Do not use – Initially, everything went well. We paid upfront in advance for several months of storage and shipping from Brisbane to New Plymouth, NZ of our house lot of personal items. which was still sitting in their Murrumba Downs facility. After advising OPS our TV was missing they told me they did not know when they would be sending it. I told them that is not good enough so they shipped the tv........ a month later. TV arrived squashed and broken. OPS pre filled in a claim form for 3rd party shipper, Air Menzies and instructed me to get prices for replacement and to send it all to Air Menzies. Air Menzies would not deal with me because it was OPS that sent the tv. OPS then tried to advise "as a matter of fact" that I am not their customer and they do not have to sort this out. Took a few months of "we will let you know when we do" type answers from OPS before I told them they should have sorted this months ago. OPS sent me an offer for about 1/4 of a replacement tv and wanted me to pay their insurance excess and sign a form waivering any future claims. I rejected this offer. After several months OPS offered me an amount that was slightly higher than the first offer. I accepted this offer just to put the issue to bed. I received less than the agreed amount, which OPS told me I am not getting anymore. I sent a letter of demand to OPS who, in turn filed an application against me with QCAT to try and get out of paying the balance of what they owe and to also have my honestly written online reviews removed. The evidence OPS submitted was made to look like OPS had paid me in full. Had OPS submitted ALL of the relevant evidence it would have showed a binding contract and actual shortfall of monies paid in compensation. I was not informed of the hearing date until after the day of the hearing. The QCAT decision dismissed OPS application even without me defending myself. OPS Manager, [Name Removed] showed no interest at all over several months in resolving this matter in a fair and timely manner obviously hoping I would give up and put it in the too hard basket.

money was just lost and not rolled over as credit).

When we repeatedly asked why there was $1500 missing from the latest invoice they decided to ignore our emails for a month. Only after peppering all departments email addresses asking for a manager and threatening to take them to the tribunal did they said they would look into it. Fortnight passed until they stated we were informed (we weren't) and attempted to argue. We proved it with emails in response, the lady still argued. We were then sent an incorrect invoice for insurance and storage which was already paid and time the container was actually in the UK. Barely anything written in the invoice so we questioned it. We were then told that it was a mistake (odd enough, actually seemed like they were trying to scam us).

Once our goods arrived we were really happy to see it. Until they unwrapped the mattress and it was saturated from its trip across the ocean and had massive black stain and mould on it because they failed to pack it properly. We questioned them and issued a claim for insurance. Without examining the damage they said they're willing to clean it but we have to get a quote. We are presuming they expect us to pay the excess for that and not to mention how sea water damages internals like the springs which they're presuming we can just wear the cost (we have replacement insurance - it's worth $3600 and it was 4 months old before we moved).

I suggest you steer clear from this nightmare shipping company. Take any of the substitute organisations. The worst organisation I have ever dealt with, especially with the faulty invoices, lack of mentioned extra costs, lack of any communication.

it could take even longer to get the goods delivered to Mt Isa, "maybe 2 weeks, maybe 3 weeks or longer I'm told, unless if I pay more to get them delivered early". Had I caused the delay in delivery, it was going to cost me $250 in storage fees.

You would think Overseas Packers & Shippers would communicate with their UK links and tell them where they deliver or not deliver to. I paid a good some of money to get my things delivered to Mt Isa, but I still am none the wiser on when I will have my goods with me. I would give you a zero star if there was that option.

However 3 years on I book Anglo Pacific who are a fantastic UK company. Great service and very efficient, to move me back to Australia. They mentioned their agents in Australia and silly me didn't check who they use.

OMG !!! the crap starts again. Total lack of customer service, I have had to chase them every step of the way. Their attitude stinks when you call them. They are totally incompetent and basically the office staff should be sacked. I supplied the information needed via email as requested only to be told a month later that that's what was holding the shipment up at customs. No apology when this was pointed out. I then chased again days later and apparently Brisbane port does not have forklifts !!!! so it had been held up for days ....... It did get held up for one day - they removed the offending item and the goods were released. Same day. 1 week later I'm chasing again ! To which they they went off and came back saying "er...er....er..... it will be delivered on Saturday"........" Well isn't someone there?" !!! "Ummm no!!! .... I'm not here Saturday you can't give me this much short notice and get cross that I'm not in!" 'After all this you need to deliver next week I'll take a day off work etc"

"Oh we'll get back to you in an hour. ! (of course you won't!!!)

No call - so next day I chase yet again! Only to be told that if I don't accept the goods on the Saturday it goes into storage at my cost !!!!! until they are around my area again to deliver. But they could say when that would be!" I flipped out !!!! By this stage the company have not been helpful at all, their attitude has stunk and I have had to chase constantly !!! now I was being told that in 2 days time if I'm not home they will charge me to store the goods I'm chasing until they saw fit to deliver !!!!!!!

I asked to speak to the manger as I was refusing to pay the storage ! of course he won't come to the phone - but will ring back. He doesn't (no surprise!)

I end up cancelling my long weekend paid for in full with no refunds allowed - to take the delivery on the Saturday as I couldn't afford the unlimited, and no end in sight, storage costs ! They have your goods as blackmail - what can you do you want your goods. ??!

The only saving grace is the delivery men - [name removed] and [name removed], who were so nice. So polite and helpful. Tidy and efficient.

I would think there are others out there that have had the same treatment, and I feel I need to encourage you to complain. I am not usually a complainer but I have been driven to it in this case! I really don't understand their good reviews tbh, I have had 2 dealings with this company and both times have been very stressful and appalling. I can only assume they delete the negative only show the good reviews!

Fantastic service! Just can't recommend enough! – We moved our family out of a 3 bedroom house in the UK to Brisbane, and Overseas Packers and Shippers handled the Brisbane side of things. They were incredibly friendly and professional,and the team that came to deliver our goods were so incredibly professional and polite. Such a contrast to the people we had to pack our stuff in the UK! We'd thoroughly recommend Overseas Packers and Shippers any given day of the week!

BBQ but they made it through just fine. The admin staff helped me out with the paperwork and were patient with me when I had to resubmit. The two lads that packed my stuff up in Brisbane were fantastic - they didn't just start going to town on everything. They went through everything first to figure out how to tackle it and reminded me to remove any personal documents or travel papers I needed to make ensure I had a safe travel to New Zealand. They took great care with everything as well as efficiently. There's a difference between "working slowly and methodically" and just being lazy and they were the former.

The gear arrived quite quickly in New Zealand and were accommodating towards the change of payment process which was completely the fault of me. There was no issue getting the gear through customs. The NZ shipping company (who I assume is a partner) was great as well. They came to my house - dropped everything very quickly and have come by to pick up all the boxes and packing materials.

Great service all around from start to finish.

them, reassuring them when required. It didn't matter at all that she had to make a few visits to the house to visit with them to answer questions. On the days of the move, the removalists were outstanding. Elaine & Reg were delighted with how polite the guys were and how hard they worked and the care that was taken in wrapping their furniture items. Also that they have never had an issue of how they are strapped, though my bike had 3 incorrect straps & 1 correct!!!!?? These guys were not the cheapest quote, but had great reviews & had a FIDI Membership & FAIM assurance Program. I'm unsure how...? Still awaiting outcome on my motorbike. before shipping. I was aware this was possible but their website states that four weeks is the maximum wait. It isn't, it is more like four months. Now it is sitting in another warehouse with the Eurogroup company that they use before it gets shipped to Switzerland. This company are telling me that they have no idea when they can make the final shipment here and it has now sat with them for over a month. Throughout all of this time they have not updated me, not notified me of any delay, and I have had to call them continuously to chase things up. They say they will call you back, but they never do. So generally, I'm very unhappy with their service and they don't seem to care. In total it has been eight months now and I don't see an end in sight. Hopefully by posting this they will take some notice, but likely they won't.

Some goods arrived broken in transit and we were unable to lodge a claim in the short time frame afforded.

We have now unpacked all boxes and find that virtually all my wife's jewelry of value has 'vanished' or been taken. This includes gold necklaces earrings and rings including heirlooms, her engagement and custom made eternity ring plus some of her mother's jewelry.

Untrustworthy.

the load in Denmark we found that a large portion of our items were not properly packed, some ridiculously so, causing widespread damage.

e.g. They dismantled our antique dining table with a hammer or some sort of blunt object and sent it as individual pieces, stuffed a large microwave in a cardboard box with absolutely no other packing material (microwave was smashed by the time it got to us), A guitar and an expensive mandolin shoved into a carton with a dismantled mountain bike (no other packing material).

Also a number of items, which were taken from our property in Australia to pack the day after, were 'lost in transit'. After a month or so they found 1 of the missing packages in another country in Europe but to date have not found any more. The owner [name removed] takes no responsibility for the incompetent packing or the missing items whatsoever.

Do yourself a favor, choose another freight company.

decision to select Overseas Packers & Shippers was based on the quick response, attention to detail and professional handling of my email requests. The quotation received on the 05th October 2015 was very competitive and very clear compared to the 6 other professional quotes I received.

I signed with Overseas Packers & Shippers on 21st October 2015. The packers flew up to Cairns to pack the container on the 21st January 2016. Everything started and finished on time. The container was received here in Switzerland on 08th April 2016. Well packed and undamaged.

Thank you for making this move so easy and for arranging the Silica packs and Rebul crates within Budget. Based on my experience with this move, I can only recommend Penny and her team at Overseas Packers & Shippers very highly.

expensive carbon fiber component damaged and my clothing and electrical goods all soaking wet. Many hidden charges that you have no option but to pay for if you want your stuff and both companys blame the other end for being at fault. I expect they dont get much repeat business. for pick up of my goods in time to make this next shipment. I only found out after I contacted the company in January to get a better sense of arrival time that my goods were in-fact bumped to the following ship, departure time unkown. My goods did not arrive until May in the end. The company repeatedly denied that they had made any commitment to delivery date, which is correct, however, they made a commitment to my goods being in the next shipment, which they weren't. The partner shipping company in the US which received the goods confirmed I was in fact booked on the prior ship, but the booking was retracted. Overseas Packers and Shippers were not only completely unapologetic about having not delivered on our contract, but were completely indifferent to having essentially lied to me about their service, not delivering on their contract and also making no efforts to expedite shipment of my goods including relocating to another container to get it on the water faster. I directly spoke with the owner, [Name removed], who was ouright rude and dismissive of the inconvenience it caused on my end not having my household goods for almost 5 months. The customer service was appalling, I don not know how they are still in business.

Bad services or no services – I have paid for a crate to be delivered door to door and when it arrived in Brisbane I was told I have to pai extra as they do not have the mean to deliver it as its to big??? they knew the size and weight before hand and tired to charge me and extra $290 over the $2600 I had already paid rip off and just a bully Shippers that can not deliver on there contract

They are presently trying to `gazump' me (hike the price for extras that I assumed were included) on two counts: they are saying that they will not deliver to the first floor using the lift without extra cost. one mile of one another as two separate deliveries even though there will be only one truck that will stop at my home address and then continue to the work address to drop off the rest. Also impolite on both occasions I have spoken with them now. They recommended someone to carry out the compliance for my car. That person simply did not reply to my email, when I raised this with them they said ``Ah well he's not part of our business.'' Fine, but then why recommend him? I got to tell the owner of this small and unprofessional firm what I think of his outfit. Impolite, keen to exploit and take full advantage of your being stuck with them as you have already shipped your goods. Looking to charge you extra at every opportunity. Clearly no idea of what building up a good reputation is about.
