In five days of use it survived a gnarly storm – Bought from Anaconda mainly for the size, height and price. Was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to assemble. Slide the three colour-coded flexi poles through the roof, connect into the corner points, insert the vertical poles and it's up. Snap on ties, strap on velcro, secure the top cover and set up the guy ropes. All was done in half… Read more

an hour as a first time effort. Inside, it's spacious, but "8P" is just silly. It's perfect for two people with two cots and plenty of room for your stuff. After four days and nights of sunny weather, everything was going great. Then day 5 came and with it was the longest windy and rainy storm we've ever had to go through in a tent. It basically lasted 12 hours and throughout the entire night before we had a break. That's where we identified this tent's weakest points - the centre pole on both the front and rear of the tent. The top of this pole is only supported by the central flexi-pole in the roof. If it gets pushed too much by the wind, I can see the flexi pole will likely break or at the very least, pop-out. That's why I went outside at 3am to add a second guy rope to better support that post. Once I did that, I was very impressed with how the tent stood up to a worsening storm. Watch the video below to see it in action

Tent Only Survived One Night – We used this tent for the first - and only - time between Christmas and New Year. It was relatively simple to put up and adequate for fine weather, summer camping. We slept one night in the tent and went off to the beach. The weather was hot and windy - approx 40 km per hour. We returned to our campsite to find the tent collapsed, a pole snapped… Read more

and several large holes in the fly. Our planned week at the beach ended after one day. Not fit for purpose - don’t do it to yourself.

Great for the money – We have camped in sun rain and wind with this tent and it has worked. Kept us dry, and cosy. One night at Toowoomba we lost our gazebo in torrential rain and thunderstorms. This tent survived and we had one small leak. Re proofed the area. Fine next outing. It is allegedly an 8 person, but there are only 2 of us and it's good. Pleased with the purchase. Show details
