Picked the Aurora for its cruise destinations in Norway June 25. So far missed the three main sites, Been at sea for 5 days haven’t seen a single port on the itinerary, nor scene any Fjords. Everthing is extra including water, cruise line using weather as excuse however sea’s flat. Activities on the boat uninteresting and set for people 75 plus. The worst cruise ever experienced and P&O just state they have the right to change ports. We travelled from Australia at great expense to see the Norwegian fjords so far seen none. My advice go with a different cruise line

P&O Disabled BEWARE – Booking Ref. XT4CHC Aurora – Northern Europe – Oct 21 2025 Cabin: Wheelchair Accessible A155 Balcony Deck 10 Booked through Vacations to Go. Deposit Paid. The day after making the booking I received an email from P&O: P&O We are very sorry, but we are emailing you to advise that we have reached our capacity for Evacuation Chair assistance on Aurora, for cruise R519, sailing on 21 October 2025. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate your requirement for this.

I do not need evac chair assistance as I can walk and climb and descend stairs with only the use of my walking stick. I called Vacations to Go and was assured all would be fine as this is a Accessible Cabin and bringing my foldable scoter on board would be fine. The next day I was informed that P&O rules say anyone using a wheelchair/scooter must have the use of a evac chair, no exceptions. P&O An evacuation chair is needed if you would be unable to use the stairs due to mobility or other circumstances. For anyone bringing a wheelchair or mobility scooter (for full-time or part-time use, on or off the ship), this is a mandatory requirement.

How can P&O not provide evac chairs for all their Accessible Cabins, on the door is a disabled sign showing a wheelchair, this makes no sense at all. I have made many cruises with other cruise lines and always been allowed to bring on board my foldable scooter. Vacations to Go refunded my deposit and the cruise was cancelled, unfortunately the two other couples in our party would lose their deposit if they cancelled. I have to think as no other cruise line has this policy that P&O do not want disabled people on their ships, or at least ones who require part time or full time use of a wheelchair.

Good Ship, Crew and Food, Let down by customer services – I went on 02 June for 16 nights, enjoyed the itinerary to Scandinavia and Baltics. But let down by a Very disappointing de luxe Cabin that was nothing like the cabin shown on website. It was Smaller, different layout, missing items and was dark and dismal. Reception door deal with complaints!!!!!! Emailed Customer Services 6 times, but only got one response, I think they hope you will give up. The cabin ruined my holiday and since P&O don't care about me, I will give up and cancel a future booked cruise. There are cruise companies who care, but Not this one The ship was good, the crew friendly and good itinery But given the de luxe balcony cabin on D deck being so bad and P&O not interested I will not waste my money with them agsin and book elsewhere
