I placed an order for earrings but never received the item. I contacted their customer service multiple times, but received no proper response or resolution. After further investigation, I am now completely convinced this company does not have a real physical presence or legitimate operations. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a refund, and I have lost my money. Please be careful and avoid purchasing from this company.

WARNING: Scam Company - Palace Jewellery Australia / House of Treasures I am writing this review to warn others about a scam company operating under the names Palace Jewellery Australia and House of Treasures. They claim to be located in Brisbane, Australia, but this is completely false. They use deceptive marketing practices, including showing… Read more

authentic-looking photos of high-quality jewellery on their website and social media, but what you actually receive is cheap plastic junk shipped from China.

I, unfortunately, fell victim to their scam. I purchased six items from this company for my wedding, believing they were genuine gold, silver, and pearl pieces handcrafted in Brisbane, as advertised. What I received was low-quality, mass-produced plastic that looks nothing like the photos. It was devastating—I had chosen these items to be part of my special day, and receiving fake, cheap jewellery has completely shattered my excitement and added unnecessary stress to my wedding preparations.

Deceptive Customer Service

When I contacted them to request a refund, I was met with automated, dismissive responses. Their messages repeatedly claimed that my package had been delivered and suggested I "check my garden or garage" as if I had misplaced it. Even when I clearly pointed out their fraudulent practices and asked direct questions about their false advertising, they ignored my concerns and continued to send the same robotic replies.

Misleading Advertising on Social Media

This company heavily promotes itself through Instagram, Facebook, and email marketing, showcasing beautiful jewellery that appears luxurious and handcrafted. However, these are fake advertisements. What you see is NOT what you get. Please do not be fooled by their polished photos and professional-looking website—it's all part of their scam to lure in unsuspecting customers.

Avoid This Company At All Costs

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly urge you to avoid Palace Jewellery Australia / House of Treasures. I wish I had done more research before trusting them with such an important purchase. I am heartbroken that I was scammed, especially when these items were meant to be part of my wedding day.

I am sharing my experience to protect others from falling into the same trap. If you've been scammed by this company, I encourage you to report them to consumer protection agencies and share your story to prevent further victims.

Stay safe and be cautious of online stores making grand promises.

Indescribable Company who sell inferior products – I placed my order and on the order summary one of the items was described as Precious freshwater pearl earrings with 925 sterling silver clasp, when they arrived there were no silver clasps only tiny plastic pop on backs. Also on the summary it mentioned 2 free gifts, none of which were ever received. I emailed them to… Read more

Not Australian. Incomplete delivery .Poor response , poor quality – It is a scam. It is not Australian and pearls are not real. I got only half shipment. Tried contacting multiple times with no response. All claims on site are not true. I bought thinking Australian and high quality but it comes from China with no customer service at all. Show details

Disgraceful behaviour from Palace Jewels Australia – I totally agree with Lawrence's review. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES whatsoever purchase from this company. I have been caught by their scam. I received part of my order which actually came from AliExpress in China. It was of very poor quality and I have been trying to get a refund ever since. I have posted numerous reviews on their sites and on… Read more

Facebook and they get removed very promptly. If you do a Google Street view of the address of the business, it is a non-descript office building and certainly not a jewellery store. The exact images of the jewellery I bought can be found on the Ali Express website for a mere fraction of the cost I paid (eg. bracelet for 79c as opposed to $34.99!). I was sent an email very early on by a customer service representative and their photo did not match their name when I did a reverse image match. It was someone entirely different. Also, the supposed 'retiring couple' are the exact same couple who are retiring from various jewelry stores around the world including the USA, again when you do an image match. Finally, the website was only created in February this year which is very unusual for a company that has supposedly been around for the last one hundred and four years. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. I am posting this to try and warn others! EDIT - Now trading as 'House of Treasures' Australia.

A total scam & fraud (AVOID AT ALL COSTS) – This store is a fake & has appeared in the UK & Canada. The closing down story is false & their promise of 2 day delivery is a sham. Jewelry sent is of very poor quality, far different from the picture. All in all, this is a deceptive & fraudulent website. PLS DO NOT BUY!
