Waste of money – Purchased large diffuser and large candle. The diffuser is only good in small rooms such as toilet. The candle is an absolute waste of money. Amazing smell and great customer service – Have purchased a couple of the Palm Beach Diffusers and candles and love them all. I bought a diffuser from a third party shop and when I get home the reed was missing (think someone had opened the box to see the product, wasn't the fault of Palm Beach), but I contacted Palm Beach directly and they sent me a replacement straight away! Really surprised at low reviews – I absolutely love the Palm Beach candles. The jasmine and cedar is my favourite; followed by clove and sandalwood. The smell of these candles is divine. be my fault as I didn't read the care label about trimming the wick. But still after this they sent me not only a replacement candle but also a wick trimmer and infuser. I was totally impressed, not many companies do this. I cant wait to burn my new coconut and lime which smells gorgeous! Thank you guys, very much appreciated.

My Candle Exploded Christmas Day – I would not recommend these candles as on Christmas Day 25/12/2018 my candle exploded and nearly caused a house fire. I have tried contacting the company but haven't heard any response back. Very poor customer service and quality of product.

glass and saw two SMALL wicks. I got upset that my sister spent so much money on a dud candle. What my partner ended up doing was cutting the candle in half and then cutting a chunk off the top. We put the pieces of candle around the small wicks and then lit it up. I'm so disappointed in this candle and would not recommend it to anyone.

Glass exploded – I would not recommend this candle. I lit the candle and it was on approximately 2 hours, the candle was halfway down the glass container when suddenly the glass exploded, luckily no one was near the candle. I managed to blow the candles out eventually as it still burnt and the flames got higher, it was also sooty around the glass. I personally think it is a fire risk.

Best candles – I have used Palm Beach candles for over 5 years (in all sizes and scents) as well as the beautiful reed sticks. I have had no issues ever. My recommendation is to only light one wick at a time and to alternate so the melted wax evens out each time. time. Also, as with all candles, you MUST regularly trim the wick, if I’m burning it for too long, I blow it out trim it and relight it. It will get smoky and sooty if you don’t. Palm Beach candles are the only candles I ever purchase!

Perfect – I love these candles. I got the lime one and it smells absolutely nice. I'm not sure about the other people here who were complaining about the excess smoke. Maybe they just got a bad batch? I didn't experience that problem though. Of course there was still smoke but it wasn't that much and I used the candles in a ventilated area.

Beautifully scented candles – I was initially skeptic although to try when I saw some other reviews, but I purchased a Watermelon scented one and it smells absolutely beautiful. Perfect for Summer, the scent becomes quite strong and fills the room (used the standard candle) I always turn it off after 3 hours approximately and trim the wick after each use.

Customer Service Team - excellent response rate – Gave Feedback via social media (I couldn’t see an email via website) Facebook mentioned that they had a quick response rate, I messaged on the weekend and to my surprise was very quick to respond. They were grateful of feedback and sent a care pack to show appreciation. Faith is restored. Beautiful scent throw. Amazing quality love gifting these as it includes matches into their candles.

like candles because of the safety aspect (mostly I just forget they’re on) and I’ve had diffusers in the past that had almost no fragrance.

The styling of the product is really nice, It looks far more expensive than it is, the white and natural look with silver trim is really elegant.

I’ll be getting more Palm Beach Collection stuff for around the house.

extremely smokey candles – I would like to say that the candle we purchased , sure has an amazing smell.BUT the candle once lit , within approx 2 min sets off our smoke alarms and the house just fills with black smoke . the soot stained the wall and ceiling . I feel if they could rectify this problem they would have a great product . Sadly in my view this is a safety issue PALM BEACH COLLECTION . should rectify this problem before something bad happens .

Amazing smells but poor customer service – I really love and enjoy the smells in palm beach range, watermelon is in my home at the moment. I have had 4 palm beach candles so far and none have produced excessive soot or exploded, tha k goodness. begative i have is i sent an email asking where do you source your oils/ scents from , and nothing replied back, sent another and same reaction, completely ignored.

I buy from urban rituelle or byron bay and they reply quickly and are aussie made to. I will be just sticking to plam beach reeds now as just to be on safe side.

Thoughtful gift - but the candle had no wicks! – This was a thoughtful gift and I do enjoy scented candles. However, I have just unpacked the candle and the wicks can't be seen. Two holes where the wicks should be/or might have been. I know you are meant to keep the wicks trimmed but this is ridiculous.

Lilies and Leather candle is the best ever – I have bought the coconut and lime products for some years but started to go off them until I was given a gift of the lilies and leather candle. I just loved it so much I went on line and bought a large one. The fragrance just fills the house. A rather unusual name but hey what's in an name.

Best candles – I have bought so many Palm Beach candles and to date not had any of the issues I see on other reviews. I love the different beachy scents, packaging and even stocked up before leaving Aus to NZ. Just bought more last night from Freedom as afraid I wont find these readily in NZ. I am a happy customer. I do however take care of my candles and clean the wick and jar after every use.

I cant vote 0 stars – Bad. lots of black smoke. Expensive hipster trash. I would not recomend purchasing this product. The smell is quite pleasant but I wonder the health effects of burning black soot in an indoor area.

flying everywhere and it missed her face by less than an inch. We had just renovated and the wall was freshly painted with a new mirror above and the candle was a new table, all was ruined. How do I know all this as I was away, well my nephew caught it all on a video. Clever boy knew it was so bad that he would need evidence at least to show us so they didn't get into trouble. They had not done a thing wrong, it was just this candle doing the damage all by itself. Of course I phoned the shop we bought it from in Warriwood and she said shed heard of this happening before, why do you still stock it?

The worst thing was the reaction from the company itself, even after sending them the video they took no responsibility and said it was our fault for not trimming ht wick. The only problem with that nice story they have ready for everyone that calls is I used to manage a candle shop and I trim the wicks every burn. So please from a mother in Belrose who nearly lost her daughters face, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT and tell everyone you know.

Caught fire - do not buy! – I received a two wick Palm Beach candle as a gift. I had it lit for a number of hours when it spontaneously caught fire. My friend put a wet tea towel on it and the glass shattered, causing serious damage to the table it was sitting on. I have been burning candles for many years and have never seen anything like it. It was frightening and alarming. This candle is unsafe and should not be for sale.

Concerned re black soot – My friend raved about this candle and purchased one for me. Black soot started to appear on the container after having been alight for maybe an hour. It still continues to produce this. Centre of the wick concerns me as it may be lead(I am not an expert) not sure if I will ever want to use this again due to my worries of concerning emissions from the candle.

Smoke Damage – From the very moment I lit the candle (which was on 5 June ) there was a mixture of black smoke and fire. daughters white plastic potty in the bathroom was the same. This morning when I was playing with my 7 month old daughter I noticed that her nostrils looked dark. I got a qtip and cleaned her nostrils and was shocked to find the qtip came our black. My god what has this candle done to her health!! Now that I think about it she's had what I thought was the start of a cold ever since I first lit the candle last week. I'd say it's not a cold but her dealing with inhaling the toxic soot. Palm beach you should be ashamed of yourselves I'm going to investigate this further and hope that my daughter suffers no further medical issues as a result.

Divine scent and packaging but soot everywhere! – I have every brand of candles - mostly expensive ones. I bought about six Palm Beach candles from my local TK Maxx in London - lit one and fell in love. as they're gorgeous and have a heavenly scent. It will take ages to scrub the walls and I will return the excess I bought at a great price!

Disappointed – I have a candle obsession and have bought n burnt many brands. PBC smells lovely in container but very disappointed when it's burning. I trim wicks as advised but the wick always mushrooms n leaves the glass covered in soot. Have a diffuser n extremely happy with it but very very disappointed with the candles.

Ours also caught fire – Ours also caught fire which shattered the glass container. I managed to blow out the fire but the damage had already been done. Very very very very very very dangerous!

Candle Lime & Coconut – Bought this candle last week I have put it on each night but not for long gives off black smoke fumes strong. leaves container black every night have to clean after use. There is a right way and a wrong way, to burn them, and they will get "sooty" if I burn them right to the bottom, as I do with the Lilies and Leather, but that's my bad behaviour, LOL.I've never measured the hours we get out of them, except to think it''s always too short LOL, an infinite candle from Palm Beach will be a good thing!!

Overall, they are great value, they always bring "a lift" to the house, and we'll keep buying them, except for the Watermelon!
