Placed the order for espadrilles before vacation. Order was accepted on July 2nd and confirmation email was received shortly after placing the order. this email noted 7-8 business days were needed for regular delivery. NP. When i heard nothing after almost 2 weeks, I reached out to customer service only to find out that they had sold out from said espadrilles BEFORE i placed my order. Which i find very confusing. 1. Why take the order and charge my CC if order cannot be fulfilled? And send me a confirmation email telling me to expect it in 7-8 days? 2. why not alert me to give a chance to get another color or a different shoe altogether? instead they told me after i contacted them that my choice would’ve been available on August 28, 2 months after my initial order. Of course i don’t need espadrilles at the end of summer. So i requested a refund. I was told it would be full 10-12 business days before they would issue the refund. They had no problem charging my CC immediately for an item they didn’t have, but i have to wait 2+ weeks to get my money back? Seriously? Needless to say i will not be ordering anything from them again.
