Terrible after sales service
I have the older model of this fridge, which is also excellent.
But I'm leaving this review to advise about Panasonic's after sales service!
I discovered a leak from the bottom of the fridge recently. Investigations with a Panasonic technician determined the cause is due to the fridge the missing water evaporator pan at the back to collect water. This has also caused the bottom plate of the fridge to rust.
Panasonic have refused to send out a water evaporator pan or take any action to the rusting plate as the warranty period has lapsed. This is despite them delivering a defective fridge which is missing a key component!
Left hand hinge in new model?
Hi. The current model is four years old now. Any plans to release a new left hand hinge model soon please? Pretty please? We love the layout of the current model.
Purchased in June 2020 at Harvey Norman for $1,699.00.

best fridge we have ever owned... with 40 years of owning fridges
I have never had fruit and veg last so long. Same for yoghurt etc. The chill tray is just perfect. Plenty of storage, great looks. Some people say it is noisy, but we find it is actually quieter than our previous fridge. The only less than perfect area is the freezer. The ice cube maker is great for some, but it would be awesome if we could actually remove it and use that space some other way - as we have a dedicated drinks fridge that caters to all our ice needs. While it wasn't the cheapest fridge around, the quality is great and we are saving soooo much money due to not having to throw food away.
Purchased in November 2019 at Betta Home Living for $1,290.00.

So Far so Good.
So I have read a number of reviews of where people are not happy with the fridge, but I purchased it anyway as it was the fridge that had the largest fruit and vegetable case.
It is noisy but not all the time. So far I haven't experienced any dents but kids have left home so its just the two of us. I love how much longer I can keep fruit and veges in the crisper. I wanted to put celery in and so love that the crisper drawer is not divided. Normally I throw celery out after a week in the fridge but not now, it's been 4 weeks and is still ...
Read morecrisp. There is more than enough storage on the shelves and in the doors for us. The freezer could be designed a little different, the ice cube does take up a bit of space, and probably doesn't need a divider and maybe that can be moved I haven't look. For me I'm very happy with the purchase and can overlook noise and the rest for the fact that I save $ on not having to throw out fruit and veges.2 comments

Hi Mitch, thank you for taking the time to provide such great feedback. If the fridge has an abnormal noise that isn't the compressor ramping up and down, you may want to check the drain pan is fitted...
Read more in place correctly. Some information you may find helpful about this can be located on our FAQ page. http://eng-au.faq.panasonic.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/21599/kw/drain%20pan/p/1638Thanks for that
Not Good
It is hard to control the temperature (no temperature display), loud and worst of all the vegetable case is narrower then the brackets and it falls through every time you pull or push the case and gets wedged between the brackets, when you try to release case plastic brackets are being damaged and shaved, soon there will be nothing holding the veggie case (hope the warranty and extended insurance will cover this type of bad design). Stay away from this model.

Too loud
I fell in love with the look of this fridge, great design and big enough for a family of 5, easy to clean. It is very loud though and vibrates through the floor, I keep it on the minimum to try and reduce the length of the noise but with little difference. I've had it for 9 months now and still the same. The stainless steel is very soft and easily damaged. Already had 3 dings in the first month. I have never experienced this with a stainless steel fridge before. A bit disappointing.

Love the design!..impressive Fridge.
Loving our new Panasonic Fridge! It has ample room for a family of 5. Great design with plenty of storage shelves for smaller condiments etc. Especially enjoy the meat cooler in the bottom of the fridge as it save having to freeze a lot of our weekly meat.
Great cooling & love the quick freezing button option for a boost when adding new items to the freezer after shopping.... Super quiet to run & being a glass shelving for ease of cleaning.
Only suggestion I have would be to omit the ice tray draw in the freezer & make a larger width freezer top draw.

Awesome Fridge
At first I thought it was noisy but now it has adjusted it self and I don't notice it. Heaps of room. I love that the centre of the fridge is an extra big draw for fruit and vegetables which should be our main diet, and I don't have to bend down to the bottom of the fridge to reach them. Lots of space. The only problem that I have is that the meat draw is hard to pull out and push back in. I took mine out. Maybe there is a way to fix this buy adding something to the sides of the draws.
I really love the freezer. The top draw looks small but i...

Amazing!
To say I love this fridge, would be an understatement. The space in the fridge is awesome. Good sized meat/seafood section, great fruit/veg section, 3 large and easily accessible shelves. In the door of the fridge there is so much room and plenty of compartments. The section in the door for holding drinks is the perfect size and has adjustable plastic things to help secure bottles in.
The height of the shelves and storage compartments is spot on. I'm 5"2 and I can reach everything easily. I love that I can see everything in my fridge withou...
Read moret needing to bend. The freezer compartment has plenty of space and slides out all the way to enable full access. It has a quick ice making section and a pullout tray for things like ice packs or ice blocks. I bought this Fridge from Harvey Norman and was told by the Sales Guy that the Centre Glass Panel on the Door lights up with a Blue Light. It hasn't and I cant figure out a way to make it.
Does it light up at all?

Harvey Norman are like reporters - don't let the truth get in the way of a good story. The only lights are inside the fridge.
I did see it on YouTube. Pretty sure you have to buy the more expensive model with more advanced EcoNavi features. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=of0JK9xTEKg&t=319s
