Could get colder – The fridge is a good size for 2 people and the freezer works well. Unfortunately the fridgeside can't cope with the hot humid days here in FNQ. The side of the fridge is hot to touch "LHS" quite often. Have never got the fridge down to below 10c therefore another of items have a short life. compartment - which we needed. However, any vegetables put in either vegetable compartment freeze. The problem is worse at the rear of both compartments. Temperatures vary by more than 5 degrees C at different places in the refrigerator compartment. Bottom of the fridge is much colder, while the top is much too warm for safe food storage. Back is colder, front is warmer. We have a fridge thermometer and have to continually manually adjust the temperature setting slider to keep the temperature of the refrigerator above zero C but under 5 degrees C - safe food temperature settings. It's impossible to keep things from freezing in certain areas of the refrigerator compartment, but temperatures in other areas are above 5 degrees C - unsafe for keeping food. Temperature in the refrigerator also varies wildly when outside ambient temperature varies. The "Econavi" function doesn't do anything like what the product documentation claims. The two large vegetable bins are unusable for vegetables, because anything put in them freezes. So we can only store food items that won't be harmed by freezing. We can store anything with high alcohol content in them - like gin - but beer will freeze. We don't drink enough distilled alcohol to justify losing half the volume of the refrigerator.

Love this fridge! – This fridge replaced my Fisher and Paykel 402L. I scored $900 off the original price which made it even better value. I had this Panasonic for about 4 months and if there was no digital display at the front we wouldn't even know it's there - it is dead silent. on the bottom of the fridge compartment;

twist Ice tray with the collecting tray beneath it;

top drawer in the freezer great for ice cream and other packed items;

vegetable drawer is definitely keeping veggies and fruits a lot longer fresh then our previous F& P did, (blue and green LED's that consistently flicker behind the drawer appear to be doing their job in keeping things fresher for longer.

What I don't like is:

vegetable drawer is quite wide and shallow, making harder to organise and find things that end up on the bottom. It would had been better if it was split on two parts;

LED lighting is on both sides very close to the doors, making harder to see items at the back of the shelves which are very deep- having lighting located halfway would had worked much better;

main freezer compartment although split on two vertical parts it is way to deep to quickly find what you looking for without moving around more than half of the items- two drawers would had worked much better.

All in all, despite little niggles I find this fridge brilliant.

more than you'd expect for the size, with a huge amount of space in the door. The pull out drawr freezer is well laid out and easy to operate. It is also the right finish and color, which resists finger marks, and it has very impressive testimonials, written by other customers.

After the fridge was delivered, and we had acquainted ourselves with how it operates, we were very happy that we'd chosen this fridge. It does everything it is supposed to including having separate temperatures in in different areas. It is incredibly quiet, to the point where we actually had to check it was working! It is very simple to clean and the clear shelves and LED lights, make it so easy to find anything.

I have recommended this model to a number of friends, who are considering a new fridge. It is a reliable, quiet, really sexy looking appliance, with excellent features.

I've had this model of fridge for 8 years now and it sits outside in up to 50°C – After moving into our caravan, I refused to part with my best friend. It has to sit on the patio, in Pilbara heat of 40° plus temps for 6 months. It shows no signs of slowing down. The vegetable drawer is magical. My lettuce lasts a month, crispy! I'd planned to upgrade to the latest model, shown here, to put in my new house but no way am I selling my existing one. I'm so angry the model is no longer available. Show details ·  1

Excellent Fridge – We bought the Fridge nearly 7 years ago. It’s big and great. Silent compared to our second fridge (Samsung - which we had to return due to strange noises). Produce kept in fridge remains fresh for many days. Show details ·  1

Faulty draws – The food draw (top one) does not slide in / out properly. Looks like the draw is too narrow which makes it wobble side to side, very inconvenient. The unit itself seems good. Show details

Fridge Vegetable Draw Dud – I have to order 3rd replacement Vegetable draw at my cost, as they just break and don't work as promised. After this one breaks I will be throwing the whole fridge in the tip as I wouldnt donate it to charity as that would be a pain for the next person. I will never ever buy Panasonic again Show details

waiting til 5pm no one turn up, i must say don't buy any product with this people, service is next to noting i just waste my day waiting for this fools. i won't recommend this company and thank god its only the fridge we have with them.

Good Fridge – This is a great fridge. It is slightly noisier than older style fridges, but it uses an inverter so that it doesn't gulp power. That's called a trade-off. years, and had no issues with it. I wouldn't discount a Panasonic being on the shopping list next time. I really do think some people are unfair in their criticisms.

Just dont bother – The drawers are hard to slide in and out and the handle on the crisper broke soon after we bought the fridge. Panasonic say that's not under warranty. Buy another brand I say. And some people say size doesn't matter – Great working fridge, vegetables stayed fresh for longer thanks to that light thing inside, very flexible arrangements, and having the bottom freezer as a draw makes so much more sense. Love it – This fridge cost me a lot but its well worth every cent. Its big so can fit a fortnights plus worth of food. Control settings for both fridge and freezer so you can adjust the temperature as needed. Its freezer is brilliant. I love the design. Anyway they have since discontinued the fridge..if Panasonic don't replace my fridge I'll be taking it to fair trading because how can they just assume that it's because space isn't big enough..there are plenty of people with the same complaint as me..

A Fridge of good price – Everything is fine. There is a Vetamibsafe case for vegie & a chilled case of 0 degree.But when you have to get stuff from the freezer - you have to bend down to open the drawer. It is quite heavy if it is full. Reasonable fridge under $1300 – It is a good fridge, we have had it for over a year and no major issues. It has large space to store enough good for a large family. It's a reasonable quiet fridge, only make low noise sometimes.It is easy to clean with removable glass shelves. Downside: the plastic shelves are not very strong. Good size - just what i wanted – The fridge is just what I wanted. It fits the space perfectly. It's quiet and maintain good temperature. Easy to clean. There were other brands with cheaper price but I think this Panasonic model fully make use of the space. I like the practicality too. crispers come out easily. An ice tray is a fantastic option and the container is big enough for a few trays of ice cubes. My kids love having ice in their water during summer. And the express freeze is wonderful when you need to cool your drinks in a short time frame.

Good refrigerator – It maintain a good temperature in all the compartments but it has became a bit too noisy over the months and often I wonder if it is broken. Cleaning part is easy and the compartments are wide and easy to clean. Love having this one as there are no tight areas and you can see what you have in a look. the veges crisper is one huge single compartment. Things get lost into the bottom and it is very difficult to organise.

The freezer is again, one large deep drawer. Very difficult to stack and organise things in here also.

This fridge also makes very irritating noises. Luckily our bedrooms are at the other end of the house. Usually it's a high pitched buzzing noise or similar, just annoying and apparently a common thing with this model/brand.

The best feature is the lowest 0 degree drawer in the fridge section, excellent for beer!
