Very happy after 11 months – We took delivery of our 20'6 Commander XT caravan from Canterbury Caravans in April 2018, so we have done about 6,000 km with it behind our Jeep Grand Cherokee. There has been no problems at all with the quality and performance of the caravan and only a small problem with the oven door glass breaking on the 400 km of rough outback road to the Birdsville races in September 2018. We have had great service from Canterbury Caravans and we hope to have many more years of trouble free holidays into our retirement. We think it is well worth buying through a reputable dealer.

Purchased in for $70.

Far from great – Paramount Commander. The wrong windows were fitted so were driven mad by bugs. The sink began to rust after 6 months and couldn’t get the fridge going on gas. Devastated

We have a great van – Ordered a Paramount Commander with some extras added to suit our needs (extra solar, grey water tank, extended A-frame, DO-35 hitch and more). Have had it a year now and everything has been great. Very comfortable and sturdy van. It's attractive silver and black and we get good comments. Our experience at Canterbury Caravans was pleasant and we had a thorough handover.

Very disappointed Paramount customer – We bought a new Paramount Commander caravan at the Perth Caravan & Camping show in April 2014. We took delivery of the caravan in June '14. Even though we dealt directly with Paramount the purchase was through their then WA agents Coburn Caravans. From our first trip to NW WA in July '14 we had problems with the internal battery, window fly screen frame, and water tanks. We discussed with Coburn who advised us to get all the issues together & then they would fix it. Coburn ceased trading not long after & to cut a long story short we had to fix all the problems at our own cost. We had no help or any interest shown by Paramount. Our previous van was a Jayco which gave us no trouble, if only we had stuck to them. Would strongly advise against buying a Paramount.
