I recently purchased a pair of polarized Cancel Council Sunglasses from Paris Miki in Doncaster Shopping Centre, but my experience was marred by a broken product and subpar customer service. The glasses broke after just 10 days of normal use, which was frustrating enough. However, things took a turn for the worse when I returned to the store to… Read more

request a refund. The customer service was of extremely low quality, with one of the staff members seeming more interested in arguing with me than resolving my issue.

I was served by a young male and an older woman, who neither of them made any effort to address my concerns in a timely manner. The woman even went so far as to accuse me of mishandling the glasses and even asked me what I expected from the purchase, which was not only unhelpful but also shocking and aggravating. When I firmly requested a refund, I was told I would have to wait, and the employees seemed completely disinterested in issuing the refund promptly.

The lack of urgency and enthusiasm from the staff was staggering, and it felt like they couldn't care less about my poor experience. As a result, I left the store after a few minutes of waiting, feeling frustrated and disappointed.

To make matters worse, I contacted Paris Miki about the issue, but received no response or acknowledgment. This lack of communication and follow-through is a major red flag, and I will not be purchasing from this store again.

In short, my experience with Paris Miki was a disaster, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Save your sight! – Imagine wearing a pair of glasses where 1 lens is reading glass prescription and 1 lens, distance prescription. Thanks to Paris Miki, I was stuck like this for a month! It started when I had a fall and scratched one lens badly. So I went to Paris Miki - since the glasses were purchased from there - and organized a replacement lens. When… Read more

the scratched lens was replaced - I immediately felt my vision spinning and asked Paris Miki to double check the replacement lens. Only to be told that there was no problem - except in my imagination.

I went back to Paris Miki three times.

Once was with the optometrist who examined the replacement lens to ensure that there was nothing wrong.

Each time, I was told that I would get 'used' to the new lens.

In addition to the poor vision, I was suffering increasingly bad headaches.

So I ended up going to Specsavers. Where the optometrist - instantly - confirmed that the replacement lens was of reading prescription - not distance.

If you want to see - go to Specsavers or to an optometrist who at least know the difference between reading and distance prescription.
