Peace Lily Mattress Topper

My mattress was too firm, to the point it was causing both my husband and I pain when we slept. We tried a mattress topper from Emma Sleep and that offered no relief (though buying and returning the topper during the trial period was a breeze). We also tried buying a new mattress from Origin, which was supposed to be "plush" and soft to sleep on,… Read more
but it was as firm and uncomfortable as my current mattress (returning that wasn't as easy). The Peace Lily topper has finally provided us both some relief and a better night's sleep. We were sceptical about latex, as I'm a hot sleeper, but it hasn't heated up, even on hot summer nights, and it's added a lovely layer of softness to sink into. Only downside was how long it took to arrive (a few weeks from when I placed the order), but it was worth the wait. Customer service was also friendly and helpful - great to have a number to call and be able to speak to someone rather than send emails and wait days for responses, like with Origin.
About a year ago I purchased a quality new mattress for ~$1.5K and it ended up being much stiffer than anticipated, and after waking up every morning with an awfully stiff back I started looking into mattress toppers so that I didn't waste money on another new mattress. Although the peacelily one was way more expensive then everything else on… Read more
the market, it looked like it would be the best quality and I thought latex would be much more supportive than the fluffy pillow like mattress toppers. Plus, I liked the idea of the 100 night money back guarantee, I figured I'd start with this and if it didn't give me the relief I needed I would just get my money back and try something cheaper next.
Well, suffice to say I was very impressed and I didn't return it! I was a bit worried at first when unpacking it, as it was heavily compressed inside the box (see image), but even before it had a chance to decompress I already woke up on the first morning after without the lower back stiffness I had been accustomed to. And now I happily wake up with almost no lower back pain every morning. Very happy with this purchase.
It's nice and thick and comfy. Still seems to run cool. However, it weirdly makes a sound when you push on the edges of it. It seems to be the sound of the latex holes sticking and unsticking. The instructions said there would be sounds as it decompresses, but this has been over a month. So if im lying near the edge and i roll in from the edge, i hear a crinkling sound for minute. Not so bad.. but why? Show 2 replies
Very happy – I bought the plush topper with their latex mattress to add that extra feeling of indulgence because I like a plush bed. It's perfect, no more sore hips and shoulders and my lower back pain is gone. Show reply
Perfection – Got a topper. We love it! So easy - from ordering to receiving and popping it on the bed. A perfect product from a great ethical company. Thanks Peace Lily Show details · 1
Nice quality latex topper, despite 3cm shorter than claimed length – It has improved the comfort of a springy mattress on my bed at college. It's also useful to use as a thin floor mattress when an interstate friend visits. Only criticism is the Peace Lily 'king single' states it's 203cm long, the standard length for King Single, but it turns out that this topper is actually at least 3cm shorter than the claimed… Read more · 1
length. This is disappointing given the $430 price tag; over double the price of many other king single 6cm thick latex toppers. At this high price point it's reasonable to expect that a cost-cutting tactic like this would not be a factor.
