The past few months I’ve been filling up at pearl energy service stations as their prices are competitive. However last week l took in a seperate 20lt drum , a red one which has the 20L line around 3 inches from the top of the drum. got home and removed the drum from the back of my 4WD when l noticed the level was no where near the 20 litre line. I realise the 20Lt line is only approximate but I’m talking well over 2 inches below that line was the level of the fuel. So these crooks are advertising low prices but giving you 10% less fuel than you pay for. I mean the entire drum is 75% full so for a 20Lt drum according to their measurements is easily be able to fit 27 litres into it. Which isn’t correct. Yes you probably can squeeze 23 litres into the dum if you go above that 20litre line but this is ridiculous. This service station is outright stealing from us. Don’t be fooled by pearl energy cheap prices, they’re rip offs.
