Performance Bicycle Australia

Bike purchased, received and opened. There were issues with the brake cables and connections out of the box - neither the front or rear brakes were working or connected. We sought help from a local shop as we purchased from Performance Bicycle Australia online and the local shop wouldn't touch it as it was a new bike and would transfer liability to them. When I shared this with [Name Removed] from Performance Bicycle Australia, he told me the bike wasn't faulty and that our local store is difficult to deal with. He provided instructions to fix the issues with the brake cables. My husband and I spent hours attempting to follow these, despite the fact the bike should have arrived without these issues. The brake cables are still not working and the bike still hasn't been used. I contacted [Name Removed] a second time, requesting for further support and resolution. Zero reply. Zero apology. Regardless of what our satisfaction might have been (don't know because it can't be used yet) with the bike, the customer service from [Name Removed] has left a bitter taste in our mouth and I do not recommend this business.
