We recently appointed Permit Point Building Surveyors, led by Adnan Ramadan, to assist with a response to Protection Works Notices. Adnan was professional, responsive, and efficient from start to finish. His expertise and guidance made what could have been a complex process straightforward and easy to manage.

Absolutely disgusting. Dishonest and worst service you could ever imagine. Hard to believe they haven't been de-registered for their bogus behaviour and lack of industry knowledge. Asked the "builder" to be present when the building inspector (Permit Point) were doing the inspection, I also rang Permit Point beforehand. I was having restumping done and because the holes were not deep enough, I had taken measurements and a video the night before the concrete was to be poured. I don't know if it is relevant but both the "builder" and the "inspector" have the same ethnic roots.

nothing kick up a stink with your local council (request compliance be enforced with building orders and notices under the Building Act).

Very very bad – I am an adjoining owner and Permit Point have been unethical dishonest incompetent and extremely biased They have refused to answer my questions and correspond with me when it does not suit them or the client that they represent In my opinion Adnan and Zak need to be deregistered and their business needs to be closed

AVOID Permit Point Building Consultants: Unprofessional, Rude, and Unresponsive If you're looking for a building consultant to guide you through your project, look elsewhere. Permit Point Building Consultants was a nightmare. Their unprofessionalism and lack of responsiveness caused immense stress and delays. It is so hard to deal with people who don't understand your situation like Walaa.

Helpful team – Very helpful admin they gave me all the information I need. The team there was very professional

Useless and Waste – Took 6 months to issue permit with expected time of max 1-2 months and had to build a retaining wall with no adjoining property having one . They just don't bother to put any effort into work and push it onto customer as long as it saves their skin

Incompetent – I would have given 0 for their common sense. Zero care for adjoining properties. It seems this company is renowned for violations of building regulations. How can this type of company still in business?

Beware Adjoining Owners – As per previous reviews, Permit Point has issued a permit for an adjoining non-compliant build. We are not talking centimetres here, we are talking a triple storey building 10m high running the entire length of our yard 2m from our fence, severely impacting our liveability and property value. They do not seem concerned that the plans have been assessed non compliant by VBA but we are hopeful that due course will provide a good outcome. I would highly recommend engaging a town planner and/or planning lawyer and lodging a complaint with the VBA if you have concerns, these guys have caused us considerable distress and expenses so far, they should not be licenced.
