This product was recommended to me by a friend. It does NOT stop roaches, spiders etc. $173 dollars including shipping. Don't waste your money. Only bought last August 2025

Cats are best for rodents. Permethrin for bugs. Electronic repellers are almost useless for cockroaches and bugs as they let bugs hide underneath them.Roach baits attract cockroaches. Show details

We Love it!! – We have owned one of these units for well over 20 years as we moved from one pest infested rental property to another. It has been plugged in to our current property for 19 years and still no cockroaches etc inside our home. Excellent product. Show details ·  1

I'm pest free!! – These devices are fantastic. I've had them in my house, single level unit, caravans and now my townhouse. Works awesome! I just set them in the locations as advised in the booklet, and never have to worry. I've been using these for over 10 years now and swear by them!!

DANGEROUS. Almost started a fire – These run too hot. Design fault has internal transformer too close to plastic. Needs national recall. Could burn your house down

No problems – Our unit I noticed has just failed after at least 8 years. During that time even during recent mouse plague we have not seen a mouse in the house! Not only that but we don't get many spiders etc. Just ordered 2 more! Hope they work as well as previous one. the second one will go into the shed where there were rats so i had to bait them.

Item was working well until :- – I purchased 2 of these products 4 years ago, the green light light stopped flashing on one of them after 12months. I rang company, they were surprised and sent me another one in 2018. Since then they were working fine. I am unaware if item was getting hot (as another user commented) due to not being in a position under my nose. One day last week… Read more

whilst preparing breakfast I heard a load scary explosion. I found that product had blown apart scorching power point. I tried to contact company but no responce until I left message on mobile phone mentioning users will need to be advised. They werent particularly interested because product was out of warrenty. I was not after a replacement after what happened but wanted users to be advised to keep an eye on product and to keep safe.

Using at home for years, now at our cafe also – I purchased two domestic units about 6 years ago (1 for home and 1 for garage) as when i moved in i'd see a few rats around as we live in a fairly bushy area. I have not seen any since at home. I then started a new cafe close to home and unfortunately started to see evidence that rodents had been in the building. For this i purchased the… Read more

commercial unit as there are many power circuits for the unit to cover. We have had no evidence of them again so far.

Best results ever imagined! – I've had mine for about 5years. Had many rats in roof, living beside acreage where they keep horses. All gone! And still pest free. Even got rid of German Cockroaches, hardest cockroach to get rid of! Show details

Fantastic long lived device! – We live way out in the sticks so there are plenty of rodents looking for cosy homes. We bought our first PestFree way back around 1995 and it eventually stopped working after 23 years! These things were built to last. The place we lived in back then had rodents galore due to being a farm. The other house just meters away had the same problem. … Read more

When we got the PestFree, it was travelling through the power line between the two homes - protecting both. The other resident called us other one day to witness a rat just stunned (by the device) sitting starring at us when we opened her cupboard! I have never before or since come across a wild rodent that sits there when approached by humans! This device works.

They say rodents may still enter the home, but they are too agitated to nest. We have been lucky in the fact that they don’t even come inside our home since we’ve had one. We tried others outside to protect the car before finding the perfect one for that job, but those other things on cards that say they give off sounds are garbage.

It doesn’t stop spiders. We only get the tiny flying cockroaches, which the device does help with. It was their appearance that alerted us to the fact the old device wasn’t working properly any more.

The only negative I have found so far with our second one is.....it’s slowly becoming tinged yellow like others have mentioned. The first didn’t do that at all.

Does a Great job – We bought Pest Free about a year ago. We have an old house(late 1950-60's) and had a serious mouse, cockroach(in house) and rat(shed garage) problem. Due to the way the house was built, there are plenty of possible entry points for pests, even Cane Toads have made it into the ground level area. As specified by Mark Roach, the rep for PestFree, the… Read more

mice and rats took a couple of weeks to move out, whereas the cockroaches took a while longer due to hidden eggs hatching. Early on, we worked out the mice will come back for baits my wife had left in odd places as she was skeptical about Pest Free or things such as empty drink bottles left in house till taken to refund collection point. Once we removed baits or bottles/cans the mice also left. This was mentioned by Mark also that the pests will risk nervous system distress for food. And Yes, if we leave food packages out of containers and forget to sweep kitchen after messy food prep etc we have had a mouse return but nothing like the scale we had prior to PestFree's arrival. We were throwing out many packages of food that had been chewed open by mice and they were getting into our pantry. Yes we have modified our pantry/food keeping by putting most food(not all) in containers but now we don't have to worry about whether the food package we're opening has been chewed by a mouse, or have to check for droppings or mess made by the mice. Cockroaches have almost totally gone, we don't come into kitchen anymore and swat up to 10 with a fly swat, bathroom much cleaner and we only have one drawer in a cupboard in kitchen(away from power circuits) that still manages to hide it eggs from me, but compared to the problem we've had, I'm far from complaining. We previously had to clean out every drawer in the kitchen and our bedrooms every month or so (and at times wash utensils etc after getting them out of drawers) as well as very often chasing cockroaches as previously mentioned. Re the rats in garage/shed(had previously been coming in house about 6 months prior to PestFree), they still travel along the outside and roof of the structures that have no electrical circuits but don't come into the house which is a huge relief for us. Not having the worry of disease and another mess cleanup every few days is a massive bonus for us. I am massively thankful for the Pest Free, it has eradicated about 95+ percent of the pest problem we had prior to its arrival. Thanks Mark and Pest Free

Best Product Ever For My Problem – I've been using my Pest Free PRO for over 2 years now and it's been the best thing I have ever bought. Reading through some of the other reviews, I question just how trustworthy are they? For my experience I had a constant rat problem in my ceiling. Using baits and traps only seemed to attract more, not to mention the smell and I shudder to think… Read more

of the diseases that came with it. But since plugging in my Pest Free PRO, the rats are gone and haven't been back since like before. No further baits, traps, nothing! I'm totally rat free in my ceiling. I also noticed I have way less spiders and spiderwebs on the exterior of my house in the summer time. I'm talking like an 80% reduction! What ones I do see seem to be dead already. Again all without chemicals. Cockroaches are way down. No longer do I get 10 or more of a night when I turn the kitchen light on. In the summer time I am lucky to see maybe 1 a week, and even then it looks sick. SICK! But I don't use chemicals anymore! I don't even get ants back in my kitchen or bathroom. I would always see at least 1 or 2 ants in the bathroom, more in the kitchen. Not anymore. So I am sorry for the other reviewers they did not experience the same level of success "if" their stories are true. As for me, best thing I ever bought, it has saved me a ton on money. Well done Pest Free for keeping me and my home Pest Free and all without using toxic chemicals. Thank you.

Not working – Bought in October 2018 to try and prevent bush rats, but it has not worked. I bought it on the basis of their supposed Coles case study. Disappointed to say the least after spending $134.45

Rubbish – Bought 2 units about 12 months ago, one was faulty & they replaced it they told me the brand I had been using was rubbish but theirs was tried & tested with certificates, well it's placed in a power point not 10 feet from the kitchen & still we get mice, so much for their non performance, we've now reverted back to the old wooden base with the… Read more

spring trap, works 100% caught 2 mice in 3 days, so much for electronic technology which is rubbish, for me their pest control is nothing short of an overpriced ($100) scam.

Doesn't work and could be dangerous – I've had the control unit since July 2017. Doesn't seem to work but I've continued to use it in the hope that maybe it will do SOMETHING. Over the last month or so I've noticed the control unit has become very hot to touch and burn marks have appeared on the front and sides. We're told these things are safe to leave plugged in, but this seems very dangerous. I emailed PestFree on the 15th of February and they haven't responded.

Didnt appear to work – After using pest free for a yr I was still catching mice in my garage. Recently I had to remove it as it had started to overheat I was lucky I caught it before it caught on fire the unit had started to melt, contacted manufactures and got no response.

Waste of money – I found mice shortly after start using the device. The company told me that I need to wait a few weeks before I see the result. I kept using it for over a month. It seemed working for a while but after the money back guarantee period (60 days) was over I saw mice again and again. It is tested and proved NOT working. Better spend money on proper pest control as the device is not cheap. I have contacted them but no reply.

Absolute rubbish – Please don’t waste you’re money on this product, it’s an absolute gimmick. It hasn’t helped with any form of reppeling mice or rats. The customer service offered is terrible. I have tried numerous times for a response with no response this far.

best investment for sure – We live in the bush and get large bush rats. we have humane traps and catch heaps around the outside of the home. They used to nest in the laundry and garage where access was available, until we got the pestfree devices. The rats do still come into the house from time to time, but we have had zero nesting since installation. last week one of the… Read more

devices stopped working and bam, rats back in the garage almost immediately. ps: does not repel cockroaches, but that's what mortein is for?

Does not work on mice – I bought the pestfree device about 4 months ago. After about 6 weeks of not working, the replaced the unit for a larger one. Still does not work, still have mice. After multiple calls, Darren from pestfree said that it doesn't work in all homes, which is definitely not on the website. They offered a refund, but the previous unit I had did help… Read more

Great decision to buy – Sceptically bought a unit but turned out to be a great idea. Has worked perfectly and mice problems are a thing of the past. I would highly recommend this product.

Don't waste your money! – I have 2 Pest Free plug ins in my home and we still have problems with mice and rats. I even have one plugged in under my bird cage and I still find mice droppings there every morning! As far as I am concerned this product is a scam. Do yourself a favour and do not waste your money!

Environmentally and family friendly products that work – We have used the Pest free domestic pest control unit for over a year now and mice issues have been a thing of the past. We are really happy with the product as it's a much safer and preferred alternative when you have children and pets in the house and don't have to worry about any harmful pesticides or chemicals. I would happily recommend to anyone. Effective, family safe
