purchased now the store is under new ownership is no longer stocked, prices have increased on the limited items I could get and the staff are the saddest I’ve ever seen them - this store has always been a happy, supportive, cost effective, knowledgeable place with all we need for our own pets and for the precious wildlife we assist. This is now ALL gone and I won’t be returning. Not because of the staff - they deserve far more than what is happening to them right now, but because there is not one product I have always been able to purchase in bulk on the shelves under this new ownership.

Senior unfriendly – My mother (90yo) had just paid at the till for 2 items, I noticed 1 of the items she had was a bag of glass rocks, I told her she must of had at least 20 unopened bags of glass rocks at home, so I asked the cashier, if my mother could get a refund on this item, as she had a bucket load (unopened) of the same items at home. "No refund" and I started to go off the deep end, so the other employee stepped in to calm things down, and said they would give a store credit, as my mother lived over 50Km's away from the store, it wasn't much use, I can not believe you cant get a refund, after not even leaving the counter/cashier.

I know I will never be back to Pet City Rockingham and I will be telling my friends how they treat Senior Citizens.

re-placement parts for water pump – called a number of shops . only shop that tried to look for a part for a fish pump . called in to a total of 3 shops in one day . the staff very helpful well done Show details

Customer service – The staff at Joondalup are just wonderful. Nothing is to much trouble for them. They all go above and beyond. Liars and thieves – We spent over $900 on an aquarium with ornaments, then went back and spent another $100 on a heater, fish food and water treatment, intending to come back and spend another $300 on fish. The heater stopped working after 10 days and when I brought it back they refused to replace it or send it to the manufacturer. I will never set foot in one of their stores again and recommend everyone be VERY careful about doing business with this company Show details

Terrible customer service – Wrong pricing and didn’t honor even though it was only $5 we’ve spent over thousands since being customers very upset with this company it was there’re mistake and should have honored it.

Terrible!!!! – I purchased my dog at the end of April from Pet City. He was almost 6 months old. From the day I got him he hated my kids and was very aggressive, he didn't like any kids. de-sexed, his strange and aggressive behaviours continued. We tried running with him, he would come home and eat all of the air-cons, water heater, fountains and anything that made noise. He took a huge chunk out of my little boy's back, right on his spine, and 5 minutes later he took a huge chunk out of my daughter's neck. He was so aggressive, even RSPSCA wouldn't take him, no shelter would take him. He would hurt anyone that came near him, he even latched on to my face. I spent $3000 on him and trying to help him. He caused thousands in property damage, including flooding the side of my house as he damaged all the drains. I wrote to Pet City in Joondalup and they didn't even respond! We are heart broken.

Buying a dog from a pet store when he had been in a glass box for 4 months out of 6 was a disaster. Buying from a store instead of a breeder was a disaster. Breeders take the dogs back when there's major behaviour disorders, and breeders breed out these disorders.
