Be careful on use of fuel, make sure you put 95 or above as car will not like it. Engine light comes on and reduces power. European fuel is superior to Australian fuel. Do not use e10.

What a car !!!!!
Bought a 2019 3008 Allure after going for a test drive. Wife chose it and after prying it out of her hands for a day I think I”m going to trade in my commodore on one as well. Its that good !! Cannot fault it. Gets lots of admiring looks from people trying to work out what sort of car it is. Beg,borrow or steal money to get yourself one people. You wont regret it...

Stand out top pick
Purchased the MY20 GT in pearl white,Nappa leather. This car is a work of art on wheels to say it's a head turner is a understatement.Peugeot have given the 3008GT every conceivable safety and comfort feature you want in a mid size SUV. Ergonomically everything is positioned for the driver once you get your head around all the tech in this car you become even more amazed.5 year warranty & 5 year unlimited kilometre roadside assistance.3 year free scheduled servicing in my case.

Simply the Best
Firstly you have to compare apples with apples. There is little or no comparison between the P84 and all the models that came before it. This is quite simply the best car we have ever owned for build quality, styling, comfort, functionality not to mention street appeal. Ours has all the bells and whistles including heated leather massage chairs, panoramic sunroof, MY20 two tone wheels and premium paint. Can't fault it.

The beauty and the beast
I knew buying a Peugeot was risky. You hear that oftenly. However, 3008 was everything I was looking for. Beautiful design, nice for traveling, super confortable and safe + probably the biggest sunroof on the market, which is really amazing. I finally found one worth buying. Low mileage (64k), all services done in Peugeot, performed great when I tested, no weird noises, no weird smoke, nothing. Made the payment, got into the car and I totally enjoyed it! At least for the first 5 miles before the oil pressure sign went on and a big STOP appeared.... Yes, 5 miles. I went straight back into the dealer and landed like D day in Normandy asking for my money back. Car was bad and the dealer knew? I don’t know, but believe me, that got me scared enough to avoid this brand all cost. No car design is nicer than peace of mind!

It Will Cost You
Purchased the car privately in December 2017 with 32,000KM on the clock.
Absolutely loved it for the first ~9 months I owned it. Gorgeous interior, great exterior, lots of fun to drive.
Then the problems started:
- Sept 2018: check engine light came on. Tried to have it diagnosed by RACQ, but the fault went away before it could be diagnosed. Light came back on a few days later, repeated the process, and then a few days after that.
- Oct 2018 - Jan 2019: Went to the dealer 5 times, 4 times on the back of a tow truck. First three times to r...

I have had this SUV since the end of July and it has been superb. The distinctive styling and refreshingly unique i-Cockpit concept and striking interior design with leather and panoramic sunroof appealed to me as soon as I saw it. I have previously owned a number of new Japanese cars from Nissan, Mitsubishi and Mazda which had a certain "sameness" about them. This Peugeot is different. It is one of the new products emerging from the company's renaissance and marks at turning point in quality and reliability as evidenced in a recent JD Power survey. I would have preferred if the turbo engine ran on E10 94 RON instead of 95 RON Premium fuel, however.

Love this car!
We test drove a lot of SUVs before deciding on the 3008. There is nothing we don’t like about this car. We purchased a 2017 in October 2018 and have not seen another car we’d prefer. We went the GT Line. It handles really well, has excellent safety features and great fuel consumption. The massaging driver’s seat is a plus! Callum, the sales rep at Newcastle was great to deal with and showed us a lot of the extra features we would have taken ages to discover ourselves. We saw an ad for Peugeot’s online and wasn’t something we thought would be in our budget initially but is great value for money. 15k in and we haven’t had any problems. We recommend this car!

- 3008 T8 (2010-2016)
A year past its manufacturing warranty and only with 25,000km on the Odometer we experienced the air conditioning failure. It resulted in replacement of compressor for a cost of $1,745- using a non-genuine component. A genuine component would have cost in excess of $2,900.
This sort of failures on a so called luxury vehicle with only 25,000 km on the clock is unexpected and probably unheard of. We discussed the issue with Peugeot Australia and requested reimbursement on the premise that such a failure on such a low kilometre vehicles constitut...
I have just spent $5000 to repair a 4 year old car that is 3 months past warranty. The NRMA said "it happens" and they have no way of knowing if it was something that had been existing for a while, or had just happened. They discovered metal shavings in the fuel line and said that if it had been a Japanese car the same repair would have been around $1500. Nice looking car, but no more European for me.
Love my car!!!
I have owned many new cars in my life but this one tops the list! It's just a fun car to drive and so different from the boring normal . Its appearance inside and out is so stylish from the chiselled handsome front to the striking good looking rear. And well inside is just wow! You get so much as standard such as the LCD instrument display which VW or Audi charge couple of grand extra for.
There is truly so much to like in this vehicle you should really check it out ! You maybe surprised .
Nice car but lots of issues
We purchased the car after considering some other SUV and chose it because of the features it has in relation to the price. Many people advise us to buy a Japanese car instead of a European one, and now I understand they were right. It has a problem after another one and has been at the dealership repair centre at least once every month for the last 7 months. Besides the financial inconvenience, it causes many disruptions as you cannot count on your car when needed.
On the other hand, Peugeot Australia has been considerate so far in understanding the case and has provided financial assistance in some cases, even being out of warranty.
To sum up, we like the car but would like it more if it would work properly.
- 3008 T8 (2010-2016)
I bought this 2012 Allure 1.6L for about 14K and pretty happy with it. It has a passable body but I love the interiors. You might have to get used to the fact that it was build as a left-hand drive and then moved to right. Some features that I love - plenty of leg room both at from and back, auto lights, auto wipers, heads up display, boot light that can act as a torch, adjustable boot floor, panoramic sun roof, access to boot from rear seat, storage spaces under the foot board of real seats, storage pockets in boot and the boot converts to a table for camping!
Beautiful car to drive
I was considering an SUV and test-drove a range of vehicles, including Renault Captur, Subaru XV, Mitsubish Eclipse and Hyundai Kona. The Peugeot had me with one look of the interior! It is typically Peugeot, and doesn't conform to the norms of boring interiors. They have opted for a fully digital dash and perfectly placed, large touchscreen for your Apple Car-play or Android-Auto. The drive is soft with great handling. I wouldn't suggest this is an off-roader, but the ride is very comfortable around town. Plenty of storage space in the rear and the passengers feel very comfortable in this vehicle. Would highly recommend this SUV.
Love the car but nothings ever perfect is it
I love this car. It's a 2012 turbo petrol with no extra electric gadgets. I drive in the city and country. It's reliable, it's safe, it's a pleasant place to be. It's not a race car but it's not slow either. All I have to do is drive, it has auto lights, auto wipers, a transmission which allows me to select auto or semi auto as well as sport mode or snow mode. It has selectable traction control (ESP), selectable parking sensors. Throw in my retractable roof and I really enjoy my drive every day in every environment.

Questions & Answers
Hi there, I am looking to buy a Peugeot 3008 2013 Automatic with 65k km. I haven't inspect it yet but I really like the interior, size and sunroof. However, I'm affraid I will make a mistake by buying this car. Any advice? Comments? Thanks!
I'm thinking of purchasing a new 3008 p84 .How are you finding the car now after you have had it for a while.Good & bad
Since taking delivery of my 3008 GT Line last year, the car continues to live up to my expectations. The Peugeot is refreshingly different and distinctive. The car is well built, feels solid and comfortable with a smooth and amply capable drivetrain. It imparts an aura of quality and individualism by its unique exterior styling, inviting interior highlighted by the futuristic dash panel, punctuated by my favourite feature the i-Cockpit. It has been completely reliable so far and has lived up to and deserved the 60 plus awards it has won overseas. Real world suburban fuel consumption for me results in 9.0 litres/100kms which is not class leading but ok. Overall, I can happily recommend it.
