Philippine Airlines Questions & Answers
what is there to like on Philippine airline? seem nothing at all.Just don't fly with them
I found the frontline staff to be extremely polite and friendly. But the lack of a proactive attitude is glaringly obvious. I'm not sure if this comes from higher management/supervisors, but there is no foresight regarding contingency planning. Also, they seem to apply the most cost-effective solution to their issues, but at the expense of passengers/customers. Unfortunately, this can potentially lead to a loss of customers and repeat business.
How much luage in weight can we take

I have a flight with nearly 24 hr between flights in Manila. their website says "International transit passengers are not allowed to go out of the terminal if there is no stopover indicated in the ticket" Trying to figure out what this 'stopover indicated' is Is it if you have 2 different flight numbers and at least 4 hrs between arrival and departure, is that a stopover indicated? Or is there a explicit thing you have to arrange at time of purchase? Because sitting in an airport for 23 hours with 2 4/8yr old kids is not doable
I wouldn’t trust anything PH airlines says. They literally have incorrect information on their website that’s different to what they tell you at the airport. If I were you, I wouldn’t take my chances but who knows. The airport is awful and I agree.. not a place you want to be stuck for that period of time.
Thank you. I cannot be the only person with a 20 hour plus overnight connection, and they cannot be forcing all the other potentially hundreds of travellers to stay in the airport overnight. I did try to contact the airlines to explicitly add/confirm 'stopover' to the ticket but the philipine airlines customer agent who eventually answered the chat was less than intelligent, just sprouting canned responses of 'only more than 24 hours is defined as a stopover' with no help, solutions, even understanding of what the issue was. I would strongly recommend anyone to not book philipine airlines
