Philips 3000 Series PSG3000/30

Overall very good but I prefer my old one – Unfortunately my previous Philips steam generator (GC7710/20) failed after 7 years (cost $199). And this model was as close to that i could find (cost $170). It performs well as far as steam goes and actual ironing. pretty much like my previous model. However, the overall quality is much lower. The plastics are light. The colour hideous. And there is essentially no storage for the cords. I chose it as on paper it was almost identical to my previous model and I think often, simpler is best. I don't need a lot of steam and lots of features. Overall its very good at ironing, I just wish it was better quality but it is priced at the lower end so maybe its not fair to expect that. I wish I could have repaired my previous one for the same price or less. I doubt it.
