even fit my tap, and even then, the threading was poorly designed. The Philips adapter’s threads were way too deep, while my tap’s metal end had only a few threads to grip.

I tested it for less than 20 seconds before the whole thing blew off under water pressure, spraying water everywhere. It’s a complete failure in engineering and material choice. **Plastic adapters can’t handle pressure—basic physics!** Maybe Philips’ engineers need to go back to school and relearn how materials work.

This is not the Philips I once trusted. Disappointed and frustrated.

Philips not living up to their once-excellent name – None of the fittings fitted my tap. I bought and had installed an expensive new tap. Only the Universal Fitting worked. But after a month, the filter blew off the tap. I re-attached it, but it continued to blow off the tap. I am no longer able to use it. was wonderful for washing food and hands. It is a great idea, but it doesn't work. I purchased through Kogans which makes returning it next to impossible. Philips are expensive and used to be highly regarded. I am not so sure any more.
