Philips DiamondClean 9000 HX9912/40
VerifiedMPN: HX9912/401 review
Design fault – Don’t get me wrong, I love this toothbrush. I bought my first Sonicare July 2016 and I have had numerous units since then. However every single one of them, including my current one bought Aug 2020, suffers from the same problem. After using it a while (in the last instance 5 months) the shaft that holds the brush head becomes loose. The result is a unit that makes a lot of noise but does little brushing. I don’t understand why Philips haven’t addressed this issue. I had hoped that the 9000, being a new version of the units I had previously, would have included an updated design to prevent the wobbly shaft problem.
Update. The Philips support team were amazing. They were quick to respond to my issue and were able to have a resolution asap.
