perfect! – Love this iron. Have had it now for just over 7 years. Never had an iron that's light and gets ALL the creases out of my clothes even if left in a basket crumpled for a week! Have used other brands in the past and this beats them all hands down.  Show reply

not bad for about 4 month – I bought Philips GC2560 at Harvey Norman south bank fair for $60 after that I found it on-line $10 cheaper and I'm not satisfy with Harvey Norman with their prices.other than that I don't use my iron a lot maybe every 2 weeks one item to iron and the only thing bothers me is that water come out holes and make stain on the fabric.but don't buy… Read more

Don't bother – Bought the GC2560, worked okay when first bought this. Started to play up about a month later, water leaked and steam was not as strong. Went to use this morning and did not work at all. Would not heat up and thermostat light did not come on. Only had for 3 months. Took back to place of purchase and luckily got a refund no questions asked. … Read more

Not happpy and will not be buying Phillips again Easy to use and fairly light weight with a long cord Stopped working after 3 months

This is perfect! Can't live without it – I've had this iron for a few months now and find it fairly easy to use and with great results. It has a very long cord which is good if you are ironing some distance from a powerpoint so you don't necessarily have to be really close to one. It has a large water reservoir and also very easy to use controls. It has a non stick surfact that… Read more

doesn't need any cleaning or maintenance. The iron gets up to a hot operating temperature very quickly. Overall I am quite pleased with this iron and would recommend it. Easy to use. None really.

Good – I am happy enough with this iron (GC2530) - it does the job well enough. To be honest if I paid full price (rather than 50% off) I may not be so satisfied as it is not really any better than my old Sunbeam iron which was much cheaper. It has a generous sized water tank which I generally only need to fill up once for a single load of ironing… Read more

(though, my ironing loads are pretty small). I was a bit dubious about this at first, but it turns out pointy "nose" end is great to get in between buttons and into corners> Two fairly minor cons are (1) that you have to hold the iron horizontal to fill it up (my old iron you could fill standing up) and (2) the water sprayer does not spray right in front of the iron, but rather a bit far forward for my liking.
