Awesome iron. The best i ever had. Going to buy another – I have 5 kids and i have had this iron for about 8 years, Not sure exactly when i bought it but it was long ago. It just burnt out after never missing a beat all these years. Hubby opened it up and checked it out inside and said the element finally has finally burnt out. This is by far the easiest and best iron i have ever used. The abundant steam has made ironing so easy and this things never stops with a family of seven. Never had to clean plate or had any of the problems the bad reviewers have had. Had heaps of other irons but none that iron as effortless as this one. I ended up here because i am hoping they still make these and i was googling to see if i could buy another. I wouldnt use anything else. Great quality iron. Hubby said if we could buy the part he would fix this one. Either way i dont want any other iron. I remember when i bought it hubby said dont buy a cheap iron get a good one because i iron so much. It was the best advice. I loved it from day one. MIne is the 3035 model. How easily it removed wrinkles

Good - still going well after five years – Bought in 2007 and used lots and still going strong. It comes up to heat quickly. Non-stick bottom is still in excellent condition despite being used regularly and sometimes by rough teenagers. Filling jug is shaped well but one still has to take a bit of care to avoid making a mess. Obviously quality. Long power cord. Safety cut-off if not being used. Stable when standing vertically. Since new cord has tended to kink easily.

Good iron – This iron works well. It is Teflon coated and doesn't get very dirty.cord is long and it has an auto shut off if left on, which is good as we use that feature more often than we care to mention. Never had any problems with the temperature being wrong. It works well and hasn't faulted and it is 5 years old now. Can't see the water level when filling it, you have to fillet horizontally but view the level when it is vertical.

Excellent – This model looks like the one pictured but is the 'Elance 3035' model. I probably bought it in 2005 or 2006, so it's now at least 4 years old and still works perfectly. I find it lightweight enough but also importantly heavy enough to effectively flatten out creases. It has a solid base and doesn't ever seem in danger of being knocked over and it can take a fair amount of water so it doesn't constantly need refilling for the steam. I love the steam burst function for making creases (e.g. pleats) and even doing a little steam cleaning where detergent has left a mark. I don't love ironing but I love that my iron works! -Heavy enough to knock out creases.

-Ceramic hot plate has kept perfectly blemish free and nonstick.

-Heats quickly and has turns off automatically when not in use.

- Steam works great and has steam burst for difficult creases.

- Decalcifier button works well. - I always spill water when filling it up.

Excellent – My Phillips iron...model # 3035 (Elance) looks exactly the same as this one above, however different model no so I am not sure if it is the same one but this is the closest in the phillip range, and I would like to say that I am totally happy with my iron. I purchased it approximately 4&1/2yrs ago and it is perfect. It is light weight and very easy to use with an auto shut-off feature when not in use ie: if left unattended for more than a minute or so...and when you come back to it you simply tilt it forward and it turns back on again and heats up instantly. The cream coloured non-stick plate is fantastic. I have never got anything stuck on it and it doesn't discolour or go black like some of my previous iron had done. Overall I would recommend this iron to anyone and I am even contemplating on taking up ironing as a part-time job as it is something I enjoy doing with such a great iron and it is something I can still do whilst keeping an eye on the babies. Lastly...it has a great shot of steam and for those tricky to iron items it works a treat...no more creases!! They may have come down in price now but I paid around the $80.00 mark and well worth every cent of it. Looks Great..Nice design and colour!
