Philips 7400 Series GC7420

Product stopped turning on – Im very disappointed today when l was about to iron when l tried to turn the on button it didn't work. I switched off from the main plug and tried again but still not working. The iron is about 6 months now bought it from Harvey Norman. It costed me lots and I'm very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend any of my friends to buy this product.  Show details

Disappointed – I bought the Phillips Steam iron just over 2 years ago and it worked well for a while but now leaks water and saturates everything you iron. I upgraded to an more expensive steam iron thinking I would get more wear out of it and it has lasted less than all my previous irons. Very disappointing when you have spent a lot of money and Phillips only provide a short warranty! Don't know if I'll buy Phillips again.

Dangerous – This iron undoubtedly does a good job at steaming but it also steamed off half my leg through 2 ironing board covers and 2 layers of foam. It dropped a huge steam jet with no warning and I have been dressing a very painful 2nd degree burn ever since, 12 days now. use my leg. I think it would be fair if Philips replaced this iron with a safe one and paid for my medical supplies which have so far exceeded $100.

Beyond my Expectation! – First of all I didn't buy it for the full price so I'm so happy with the price! then the steam power is incredible! It just reduced my ironing time to less than half. the cords length are just proper, the deign is great and the iron itself is light enough. I haven't stored it yet so can't say anything about the cord hook.  Show reply
