a large bowl, sprinkle over about a tbs of oil, shake well, and put them on for 25 minutes at 200 degrees. Roast potatoes come out soft and dry at any setting. Just don't ever fool yourself into believing this appliance will do chips and roast vegetables as good as the traditional methods. There is a difference. People who post rave reviews like the convenience and using less oil. But I cook frozen fish taking exactly the same time in a conventional fan forced oven (22 minutes), and my roast potatoes in the oven are crisp on the outside and moist and fluffy inside. This is something I can't ever achieve in this appliance. So for the sake of convenience it is O K, but just another appliance to clutter our kitchen to cook chips when the grandkids come over.

Good Buy – I bought a Viva Airfryer with the QuickClean basket in October last year.. I bought the one with the mechanical timer instead of the digital touch screen. they should be on for. Everything I've cooked so far has turned out to my satisfaction. I don't eat a lot of frozen chips, however tried them out first. The chips in my opinion come out better than in the oven. It's great for cooking steaks, lamb and chicken. Have yet to buy some of the accessories and I was surprised to see that they don't appear to be very expensive. Looking forward to trying out some of the other items the instruction booklet says can be cooked.

The model that I bought is not as large as some of the other airfryers I have seen, but as a single person, I didn't feel that I needed one of the larger ones. It's big enough to feed a couple of friends when they come over.

It's easy to clean and store either on my kitchen bench or on a shelf in my pantry.

Definitely worth buying – One of the best products ever. Can’t live without in my kitchen. I always use it for a third side. So I cook veggies, meat, then chips etc... so easy to put things in there. Just amazingly cheap and healthy – I can cook just about anything with this appliance. It doesnt require any oil and food can be prepared within just a few minutes. The Best Oven Ever! – This product is absolutely the best oven I have ever used. The Airfryer is awesome at cooking French fries perfectly but I love how you can put a piece of steak in and 11mins later it is cooked to perfection. Great but won’t buy Philips again – Great time saver, better results than cooking in the oven, super simple to use and clean. Anything that you cook in a regular oven can be done faster and usually better in the air fryer. Expensive appliance compared to others on the market. Phillips air frier – This product was so bad it made the food taste horrible we returned it, it was a waste of over 300 dollars. We were very disappointed. No oil needed – This airfryer has helped me maintain a healthy lifestyle. I have used this air fryer for all types of meals prepared including savoury snacks, fish and chips. Simple and excellent – I like this because it's simplicity. My brother bought one last year and he was taking this every where he goes. He was the one that convince me to buy one. Fast, Simple, Easy to use and clean! – So glad I chose the Phillips airfryers over the other fryers even though the price was more expensive. No regrets over this purchase. Frying tray had plenty of room for airfrying finger food. Frozen nuggets only took 5-8 mins to reach golden brown depending on how crispy you like them. Much less oil feels healthier – Easy to use and so far everything has turned out as expected. We used for fries, chicken wings, nuggets, popcorns and it tastes just like deep fried.
