These were built like a brick sh*thouse and made for the comfort for our family of 4, designed to be taken apart sectionally and re sealed when required and the rocker roller suspension has proven to be superior on desert tracks. If you can find one either buy it our invest into a bushtracker as they are a test for time as well.

Great – We have owned one of the last Davidson built 2003 Phoenix Nomad 3 for five years. We are the third owners. The basic build is extremely solid and we have just needed to repair or replace normal wear components. It's not complicated to understand it's systems. battery charger and air-conditioner. You will not find any water leaks or cupboards falling off with a Phoenix. The only thing is finding a service centre you trust enough if you aren't local to Caboolture. We lived in it for a year full time.

16000k through central road – I have just traveled the great central road (dirt stones ,corrugations) to West Australia. My van was upgraded to 3.5 tons and is 28ft from Tomball to rear spare tyre .we did 16000k without any problems not Evan a puncture or any loose crews. Our next trip is up the tanami road others hall's gap and the Gibb river rd. Our r van is a Phoenix nomad 3 1999 model towed by a patrol 4.2t upgrade.  Show details

Phoenix Nomad (Fantastic Quality) – We have bought a 1996 Phoenix Nomad. Well built with pride. Came with photos from chassis stage to finished product. Solid and still looks good on road. Has Solar, off road, space, combo toilet/shower. Love it.

The original and the best – We own a Davidson built Phoenix which are well known for their quality and true off road ability. We've owned 4 vans in total but the Phoenix is hands down the best. It is superbly built. From the chassis to the fitout it is first class. Reliability is king when you're off road and this van has never let us down. Sadly they don't make them… Read more
