Could not have secured my dream job without the assistance of Pilot Aptitude Training Systems – In 2019, I enrolled in a training course after an unsuccessful attempt at MFB recruitment in 2018. Jonathan Ryan's expertise in Pearson VUE aptitude tests, particularly the challenging math components, and non-verbal analogies was unparalleled. When he informed me about QFES 2021 recruitment intake, I applied and successfully passed the QFES… Read more

cognitive ability assessment. This achievement paved the way for me to realize my dream of a career as a firefighter. I attribute my success to the guidance of Pilot Aptitude Training Systems. I believe I wouldn't have achieved this without the expertise of Jonathan Ryan'.

Excellent outcomes for Qantas SHL Pilot Aptitude Test – I engaged Jonathan Ryan of Pilot Aptitude Training Systems to prepare for my Qantas SHL pilot aptitude test. Jonathan’s training proved invaluable as it prepared me for the specific type of questions, patterns and methodology of the Qantas pilot aptitude test. I had previously used some other common online training platforms, which were okay,… Read more

but did not train the specifics of the SHL testing.

The Qantas pilot aptitude test is extremely challenging, but Jonathan Ryan’s course saved me valuable time during the test. I could easily recognise the types of questions and now knew the methodology for solving them.

I was offered an interview with Qantas in the first round of offers after Jonathan’s course - this is the best outcome.

I would highly recommend Jonathan Ryan’s course for preparing for Qantas SHL pilot aptitude testing.

Pilot Aptitude Test Preparation – Pilot Aptitude Training Systems gave outstanding preparation guidelines to master the required tests. Jonathan Ryan is excellent in explaining what is required of you in these tests and gives you the tools to adequately prepare. The tests are extremely difficult and under a time critical test environment. Without proper preparation by PATS a… Read more

satisfactory score is very unlikely. I highly recommend attending the preparation course and then practice, practice and practice some more.

I would not have passed my course without the help of Pilot Aptitude training systems – I have no doubt that I would not have been able to pass the Pearson Vue aptitude exam without the help of Jonathon Ryan and Pilot Aptitude Training Systems. Jonathon was extremely patient and provided expert tutoring in all 4 areas on the aptitude exam, for someone who had not studied since high school (14 years ago) he was able to provide me with… Read more

all the help I needed to learn and pass the exam. I have strongly recommended Jonathon to many people I have met who are thinking of applying and will continue to do so.

Great Service and Training – I used Pilot Aptitude Training Systems for my preparation with Fire Rescue Victoria. Jonathan Ryan had great knowledge and was an exceptional teacher. He was flexible with his training days and helped me achieve a competitive score in the Pearson Vue Aptitude test. If you are serious about a career in the Fire Services, I would highly recommend Jonathan.

Pilot Aptitude Training Systems – Jonathan Ryan was fantastic in giving preparation advice for taking the Pearson VUE aptitude tests used for Fire Rescue Victoria recruitment. He was instrumental in helping me achieve passes in academic testing in multiple highly competitive fire service selection campaigns. Highly recommend.

Cathay Success – I used PATS for preparation for multiple interviews. The course was practical and trainers are flexible in moulding the syllabus to fit specific individual needs. Even though may seem costly as it did to me it is definitely a great advantage on other applicants and once you land the job the cost of the course is only a small factor. Good work PATS and thats again wouldn't be able to do it with you!!!!

Pilot Aptitude Training gave me the help and confidence needed to to achieve my goal – I have moved from overseas to Australia with my wife and two children. I come from a firefighting background and really wanted to get back into the profession I am so passionate about. I knew their was going to be a CFA intake in the future so I was very excited to submit my application and sit the aptitude test. I studied as much material as I… Read more

could to get myself ready for the upcoming exam but unfortunately the result was not what I so hoped for. to be completely honest, I was quite disappointed. I soon did some more research in the preparation department and that's when I found PATS. I wanted to know about the course so I put a call in and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Jonathan Ryan. He did not only have great deal of knowledge regarding the fire services in Australia but also was very enthusiastic and committed to those like myself in fulfilling their dreams. The training I received in this course was exceptional and Jonathan Ryan's patients and dedication to my goal in passing the CFA written exam was of top quality. I soon got another opportunity to resit the test and passed with confidence. I recommend PATS to anyone out there

Wouldn't of landed my dream job without this course – I applied to both the MFB and Victorian CFA , & also QFES over a period of a couple of years. I scored test passes for all three and ended up getting onto a recruit course with QFES. I attended the PATS course in Melbourne and found it to be invaluable preparation highly competent and insightful instruction , shown dozens of shortcuts or template… Read more

methods of doing the various problems. Jonathan Ryan was an approachable patient and highly competent teacher , and he re-built a significant portion of my late primary and early secondary school mathematical skills.

He gave me a large amount of take home material , and the PATS question bank very closely resembled test questions. I met a number of other guys applying for MFB/CFA kept in contact with them & like me they all passed strongly. From all accounts PATS also have the Border Force and ADF entry exams sorted out, as I have two mates from school who used them to prepare and got selected

Got me where I needed to be – After failing the ADF testing initially, I decided to not leave anything to chance the second time around. I travelled to Melbourne where Jonathan walked me through exactly what I needed to improve on in order to progress my application. I have now completed my ADF pilot application and I am awaiting an offer. I could not be happier with the services that Jonathan offered to me.

Well worth the trip – My son is seeking Office Pilot entry into ADFA and was concerned about the Pilot Specific Testing. We live in Sydney so I had to take the leap of faith and send my 17 year old down for the weekend on his own. Jonathan couldn't have been more helpful and my son came home confident and happy with his time there. He and 14 others sat the Pilot… Read more

Specific testing out at Parramatta and at the end of the testing they called out 13 names (my son was gutted to think he wasn't one of them). Much to his astonishment only he and one other candidate passed that day. He went on to complete the assessment day (medical, job interview and psychological testing) with flying colours. He is now studying for his HSC trials and awaits his call up for the final 2 weeks flight screening in Tamworth.

This was an expensive exercise but when you are talking about kids who know what they want, you want to give them the best guidance to achieve their goals and PATS comes highly recommended.

Success at Qantas Mainline - Pilot – Much to my delight and also relief I have achieved a successful outcome in the selection process for Second Officer at Qantas mainline. I started preparing for the process back in mid 2016 when I did the a four day PATS training course with Jonathan Ryan in Melbourne, who got me my first airline job a number of years earlier. The course was again… Read more

excellent and prepared me exceptionally well for the TalentQ test which is used by Qantas at the moment. I actually found the TalentQ test very difficult but the PATS course assisted me immeasurably. The course is expensive but to date it has got me two airline jobs so a small cost when you look at the overall scheme of things. Two friends of mine who I pushed to do PATS course with Jonathan also passed & completed final interviews recently, aside from that all the guys I know from my former airline failed TalentQ. Jonathon is a great guy and a great teacher. He even gave me a free extra day just before I did the verification test to go over a few last minute questions. Thank you to Jonathan & PATS you played a big part in my success to date!

Excellent service and helped enormously – My son is seeking Office Pilot entry into the RAAF and has been struggling trying to study for his HSC and for the You Test and additional testing. On his first attempt he did not unlock Pilot and was so disappointed that he nearly gave up. The stress of trying to ensure an ATAR above 75 and completing 2 unit maths as a prerequisite for pilot… Read more

entry, and simultaneously studying for the you test, pilot additional testing, assessment day etc was just to much pressure until I found these guys at PATS. We live 7 hours away from Melbourne but we had already tried the online course with the 30 minute telephone interview after completion and it was not much help so decided we needed face to face time. The best thing about the PATS program is that HSC students can allocate 4 days during the school holidays to really focus on studying for the You test with guidance from experts. My son enjoyed the 4 days, he attempted the You test again the following week and unlocked ADFA and pilot. Jonathan was his trainer at PATS and his advice has continued to assist us right through the process. We booked 1 additional day to assist with studying for the Pilot additional testing and my son passed it first go. He is about to attend assessment day and Jonathan has helped with mock interview questions and loads of advice that has just been priceless. I would highly recommend PATS to anyone who is struggling to prepare for ADF selection. It is a hefty investment but to me it's been worth every penny and I am certain that we could not have come this far without Jonathan's assistance. He encouraged and inspired my son and has bought out the best in him. My son is now determined to succeed and believes that he can achieve his goal.

Ridiculously Overpriced. No Refunds For Services Not Delivered – This outfit appears to be a one man operation that charges $3000+ to sit you in front of a computer for 4 days. The training is personal one-on-one for about 2 hours and one-on-one with computer the remainder 30 hours. They have developed interactive powerpoint presentations with questions (spacial awareness, cognitive ability, English… Read more

comprehension, etc.) similar to what can be obtained for a couple of dollars (or free) elsewhere on the internet.

They talk a good talk on the phone, using a sales pitch of 'Were actually very busy training applicants for 'insert your potential employer here' right now, so you need to get your payment in quickly! Anecdotally, the little office was empty the 4 long days I was there.

To make things worse, I did not receive all of the tuition hours for which I paid. When I asked for a refund of the hours I missed (due to closing the office and attending personal business) they were non apologetic, suggesting I take a another trip to Melbourne to undergo more 'training'. I just requested a refund for the services not delivered and he said he would have to talk to the owners in Singapore about it. Sounded like a strange arrangement to me at the time.

I would suggest people approach with caution, ask for a detailed course outline, including subject matter, type of tuition and hours of tuition.

In summary, they only offer a 4 day course at a huge cost. Have to pay in full up front or on the first day. Think about it!!! It all seems very obvious to me in hind sight but you live and learn I guess.
