I didn't worry too much, not thinking it was the heater at all. I used the heater maybe 6 times, eventually I had a day to sort it out and found it was the Hot water unit and not the pipework, unfortunately it was about 6 months out of warranty. I emailed both Pinnicle and dieselheaters.com.au ( same company ), and it's been about 2 weeks and not a peep. I wasn't expecting a refund, but perhaps a return email at least. Avoid this product and invest in a Duetto 10 ltr. These are Chinese cr#p, and they will not last. Very disappointed in the service and longevity of the product, especially when they advertise below on their website.

$30.00 postage cost. As I really did need one, and given the exhorbitant postage, I ended up ordering two knobs along with a pack of awning hooks ($15.00).The knobs weigh 30gms (1 oz.) each and the hooks 60 gms (2 oz) a total of 120gms (4oz.). The postage that they charged for such a small package is a baltant rip-off. Given that I needed the knob for my awning to work as it should, I had no other options besides purchasing it from them.

Not very good at explaining the area that each awning covers – Read fine print. Ordered an awning from these guys. Wanted it to cover 14 foot. Box arrives and it has 14x 8 foot allover it. Chinese. It's been sitting in my shed in its box for over a year now and I haven't until recently installed it, it's now out of warranty and I'm just hoping it works.

P.S. It appears "planars" are no longer listed on their website since my phone conversation.

about a replacement through ebay again had the same response,send us your phone number and we will get someone to contact you, ha ha ha what a bloody joke. I wouldn't ask for the time of day from them let alone buy anything else. Be warned customers this lot are as shonky as they come. Finally got an AVR from them,installed it and still nothing, I found that the fan between the motor and generator had disintegrated and shorted out the field winding. Am dreading having to contact them again. Will see what their response is this time.

Christmas day 4 days after I got it back from last send back! I live off grid and with 40+ deg heat all food and was lost and christmas day called off and people sent home!!!! person in the warehouse they only put 1 on the shipment. Great organisation I must say.

So, I receive them and year they seem ok, the leg ends are terrible to install, move up and down. It is a complete nightmare. Now I know this is the product and not this company but I am just letting you know about the product as well. I possibly spend another $1000.00 dollars to reconfigure these legs to work correctly.

So, I run a spit hire business and we got numerous calls back from my clients informing me that the motor has stopped. I was like, they are brand new. Some people were cooking 10-12kg pigs and this apparent motor is rated 40-80kg which I find dubious anyway, hence why I kept the kg's down on it for that very reason.

So I am barely 2 days over 12 months and contacted these guys to say, I have had two just stop turning and pack it in, all whilst I am standing in a function cooking a rolled roast pork. Going back and forth today with emails I get this:

Comes with a 3 months parts warranty, please reply with proof of purchase for us to start the warranty procedure otherwise we do advertise the motors separately for purchasing

3 months........ what is three months.... They just said to me because I used them commercially that I only get 3 months warranty and if personal use, 12 months. Note: all these machines have only been used 5 times because they caused me so many problems. I used other machines because these ones I had to consistently re-work jobs due to failure.

To say I am disappointed and that I should of know better buying a cheap Chinese piece of product and half of this issue is mine because I only paid barely nothing for it.

I would of purchased more gear off them but not anymore. I am out as a customer for good.

On 8 August I arrived home from holidays and was greeted with a size that was not suitable. I emailed the company about a return and was asked for my order number (which I could not provide as nothing was given to me). They found my order details despite this. I could simply return my product for a refund minus the freight cost. I sent it to the address given on 17 August, 2017. On 29 September, I queried as to the arrival of my package and process status of my refund. I was replied with "refund has not been issued as the warehouse had no idea why it was back due to no paperwork." I was under the impression this was a professionally run business that might have employed someone to communicate the return of my product to the 'warehouse' where it was sent. This was not the case. I had left return details on the package clear as day for a point of contact and yet not one of their staff took the initiative to contact me. After the disappointing after-sale customer service from this company, and wanting to purchase the correct size this time around (even after the drama), I asked if the company would compensate my shipping costs. I was refused, despite not having provided me with an invoice and booking confirmation that could have alerted me to the error before it occurred and saved myself the cost and trouble of return. Not only this, but when shopping from their website the FS770 is able to be added to the cart with ease, and yet the FS880 (just below it), had none and no way of selecting it to buy. This information is misleading. After the frustration of dealing with this company and accepting my loss of money because of my own mistake, I asked for an invoice, expecting my sale receipt from the day and my credited refund. I was ignored at first then asked "why are you requiring this as you now don't have the item?" After unnecessarily explaining myself, "I would like a paper copy of my transaction so I can cross check with my refund to understand my summary of bank statements.This is not something I should have to explain, seeing as though it should have been sent from the beginning." What reason should matter other than I am legally entitled to it! Still chasing a bit of paper that states more than the cost of just the freight on the item! Unprofessional and rude. Disgraceful interaction with this one staff member. I would have liked to review the product's performance, if they had only cared enough to help me purchase the correct size, rather than just wasting my time and money.

the pig by hand! Mind you, the pig was properly braced and we were using a counterweight as well (all purchased from Pinnacle also). We have kept the spit in perfect condition. The least Pinnacle could do would be to replace the motor... but no love there! Buyer beware!!

generator the fuel pump died. They replaced the fuel pump no problem, but sent replacement exhaust more damaged than the one I wanted to replace. Now they are refusing to pay the bill for having it repaired and re-fitted after saying they would pay for repairs.

All you people who have had the same disrespectful and poor service from this business/person as I, should immediately report this business to eBay, PayPal, the Consumer Affairs Victoria, and the manufacturer. It is your legal right to have goods and services purchased from any business supplied exactly as advertised (eg: Brand New), and if not they must be professionally serviced and restored under Warranty within a reasonable amount of time to new condition by the seller at the seller's expense, not yours. Don't let bad business practices continue. Don't give up.

Diesel Heater – Bought a diesel heater and the diesel pumps fails, they sent a new pump, it failed, no he is stating it's not their fault. I apparently didn't install it correctly. So took it to specialist, install is perfect. They won't return calls or emails. Don't buy one a heater from them, poor customer service.

Exceptional value – I recently purchased an air compressor from Pinnacle Wholesalers and the experience was very pleasant. compressor I bought is of excellent quality, much better than I expected and the price was close to half of what was being asked elsewhere for a similar unit.

Unfortunately they don't have a real showroom where you can view all their products so you have to rely on their item description, if they did have a real shop front their prices would have to increase dramatically.

When you buy at such reasonable prices you have to be realistic about warranty claims and returns, having to wait a bit longer or having to pay return shipping is normal for this type of operation.

I would not hesitate to buy again from them.

Do not buy from this company - worst customer service ever – Bought a new fridge six months ago - just stopped working completely. Rang and spoke to rude [name removed], who advised I needed to freight the fridge back to Ballarat from Gold Coast at my expense and they would look at repairing or replacing. The freight will be almost as much as the cost of the fridge itself. Their warranty is not worth anything.

had a new one delivered to my house in about a week. I have added extra foam tape to seal the trailer from dust as some gaps could be seen from inside,this has sealed it very well and on our last big trip everything stayed dust free. plenty of extra storage and it tows well. Great kitchen with easy gas and water connection the chains on the draw bar did not meet WA liscencing requirements so i had to cut them off and weld new ones on to get it over the pits

Also be careful as they have falsely advertised the weights on their website. It's no small error with a difference of hundreds of kilos! We had been tossing up between this and a slightly lighter trailer and ended up going with Pinnacle. Had we known it would be so much heavier than what we thought we were paying for we would have gone with our other option.

When I wrote to them outlining the 13 defects and false advertising they told me weight didn't make a difference to a trailer and if i wanted to return it I would have to deal with consumer affairs, fly down to VIC and take them to court. Nice.
