Exceptional Value for your $$ – I have just replaced my two front Pirelli Scorpion As. on my BMW X5M after they had done over 50k and still had at least a couple months worth of driving on them. They had recently passed a WOF and only replaced them as i did not want to risk getting a puncture etc while travelling. Excellent tyre for around town, highway, wet and dry weather conditions and they wear well considering i have high output BMW X5M putting a lot of power and torque through them

Purchased in at Tyroola for $1,360.

  • Tyre Mileage: 800 km
  • Tyre Pressure Used: 40 PSI
  • Off-Roading Frequency: Never

Advise to anyone wanting their tyres to last especially wide or low profiles. Make sure you keep the tyre pressures up. I run 40psi in my front Pirelli 295/30/22 and 44psi in my rear 335/25/22 and ensure the camber is adjusted so the wheels are almost vertical rather than factory. Factory settings for performance vehicles tend to wear tyres very fast and although i am loosing out on corning & some handling, i haven't missed it and i've reduced my tyre purchases quite considerably.

Marketing [censored word removed] – I was looking for some truthful advice on a selection of tires for SantaFe which the original Kumho solus KL21 have given me 71,000kms. Then I saw this marketing spiel. "The Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico built with the newest evolution and sophisticated techniques of construction in Pirelli's ultimate MIRS - Modular Integrated Robotized System.A tire born to be part of the most powerful light truck and SUV's"

Had me and my wife rolling on the floor. "Zero Asimmetrico built" "Modular Integrated Robotized System" what the????

Still looking for for excellent wet/dry safety, great life expectancy and fabulous price.
