Useless rental service – Rental agent has favourite maintenance contractors who then never return to complete when requested, then pushes other contractors at twice the price they should be. Rental agent takes 7 days to respond to my emails and text messages despite there being an urgent plumbing issue affecting tenant and neighbours. Show details

What made them stand out negatively was the contrast compared to other agents working in the same area - brilliant and friendly service from Living Here Cush Partners in New Farm , Ray White Ascot and Remax Morningside. The arrogant folks at Place Estate Agents don't seem to understand that they have now lost both myself and my daughter as potential customers forever. For example, I'll be looking to purchase an investment property later this year - I will never use Place Estate Agents to sell or rent my property. As a relative newcomer to Brisbane, the last few months have been a definite eye-opener as to who's good and bad regarding real estate agents in Brisbane.

Very poor communication and customer service – Ever since this real estate took over from the previous one which were fabulous there has been nothing but bad communication empathy customer service. It’s not just one person it’s the company. It costs nothing to be nice but they are only interested when they do answer to facts. People need compassion empathy and treated like they are respected not like they are nothing. It’s sad I couldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Show details

Don't rent your property with these jokers – Rented my 3 Bed newbuild townhouse and there were useless from day one. - Failed to inform me the tenant short payed the rent for over 6 months and they short payed from 3 weeks into the tenancy. They left 5,500 AUD of debt - Then they Failed to register the debt with the deposit holding entity so the tenant was refunded their money and I was… Read more

left to negotiate with them and out of pocket 1k AUD - Failed to register parts missing in my kitchen checkout which still have yet to be fixed - Failed to fix our expensive SMEG microwave and instead ripped out the entire buld in unit, checked the almost new SMEG and put in some cheap Panasonic from Cash converters. Honestly, absolute jokers. All they had to do is get a decent tenant, collect the rent and look after the property, they did none of the above.

Wouldn’t rent through this agency again – Very poor communication. Unwilling to be upfront with requests. When I did the clean to move out, someone else who I’ve never met went and inspected the house without taking the original entry report in and told me I had to go back and fix things when in fact they were broken and reported on the entry report. Very poor excuse for a professional… Read more

agency. I’ve had in writing confirmation about the bond being returned. It’s now been three weeks and no response to my email about if the bond has been released on their end. It’s like they are avoiding the whole situation. Just some acknowledgment would have been enough for me to not submit this complaint. Be better

Ignore tenant rights – Agent Mikaela forced my family to leave our property whilst in covid quarantine for an Open House. We informed Place we were under restrictions . This was of no consequence to the Place as they wanted a sale regardless. No written apology given. Poor excuses.

Excellent Service from Megan - Place Bulimba – We have worked alongside Place Estate Agents Bulimba for quite some time now and always find Megan Reaburn to be very efficient, prompt and communication is always easy and pleasant. Highly recommended.

Perruzza, who left a message as she requested further details that we sent through pertaining to an application. After promptly calling back, the receptionist told us she would have her return my call. After a second call to the agency, I'm still awaiting a reply. I cannot fathom the behavior of this business. I'm at such a loss for words.
