PLUSGAS company forces the customer to take photos of the “Gas Compliance Certificate/Plate as well as a photo of current setup, showing the regulator and the Safety Chain around the cylinder/s”. The regulator has been changed for a new one in our house. HOWEVER, the entire thing was not only changed and checked for leaks, it was also CERTIFIED on a PLATE on the wall, right above the regulator by the certified installer himself. She asked a ridiculous question about the regulation point written on the regulator, when we already sent her the photos and it was checked by the installer. These are supposed to be exactly the same all over Australia, which is 2.75kPa, almost the same in most countries for domestic propane/butane cylinders. [Name Removed], the administration receptionist HAS NO RIGHT to force us to walk again over the mud (this week it was raining a lot!), when we already took and sent the photos asked by the company and also, we made a mess in our carpet for a 3rd. time! just to make her job easier, and her to say “sorry, but we need that 3rd photo”. We are seriously considering to report this to the ACCC and the Energy Ombudsman. For some reason, that metal certification exists. Period. This poor customer care attitude makes us wonder about the seriousness of this company and >>what can we expect later<< (i.e. recharges life, turn-up time or deliveries delays with excuses?, etc.) once we become their customers. Yes, their “marketing catch” is the price for 2 cylinders and the low “Annual equipment/rental fee”, but… at what expense later on?… Mmmhh… be careful!… This derogatory customer attention already gives us a warning of what we could expect from this company. For us, it is totally unacceptable, and we decided to pay a bit more -if it’s necessary- and to move on instead of going ahead with their services. No thank you.
