Poolpoppits

Crystal Clear – In January 2019 I purchased a 5-seater jacuzzi to put in my courtyard; one of the best purchase decisions I’ve ever made. To avoid effecting people with sensitive skin and in the best interest of the environment I chose to go Chlorine or Bromine free. Now, I had heard that spas or Jacuzzi's are notoriously difficult when it comes to managing the quality of water; but I never thought 1000 litres of water would be so hard to keep sparkling clear, particularly given it had moderate use (2 people/ 2 to 3 times per week).
I was spending hours and God knows how much money testing, measuring and adding different chemicals - Chlorine Remover, Sanitiser, Spa Clear, Spa Shock, Alkalinity Enhancer, Ph Reducer, Anti-Foam and Filter Cleaner. Despite this effort and expense, the water was always cloudy, and I had a brown scum water mark that would not go away. I found myself having to drain, refill and start again almost every week.
So, about 6 weeks ago I went in search of a simpler and cheaper solution than the brand I started with and was rewarded when I discovered Poppits (or Pool Poppits if you’re searching the web). At last, a Company that understands just because you own a spa doesn’t mean you aspire to become a chemical engineer.
Their approach to water management is not only simple but I’m spending ½ the amount of money and they have a series of step by step instructional support videos to help you get it right. Now, instead of 6 different products, I use 3 and managing my spa takes no more than 15 to 20 minutes per week.
With a simple regime and products with names like Quick Fix and Water Balance, how could you go wrong. Although the brand name does nothing to inspire confidence, their products actually work, they won’t send you broke, and the time taken to dose your spa with chemicals can now be spent enjoying it.
