Unsafe and very poor quality product - worst after sales service I've ever encountered – At first, this product seemed like good value for money, though delivery was delayed several times (so ended up taking months) and the padding was damaged when it was received. had been in perfect condition. There were no signs of wear and no damage - no sign whatsoever that the jump mat was about to fail. My child could have been seriously hurt.

This wasn't even the worst part. I complained to Premier, particularly in regards to the potential safety issue, and they absolutely refused to deal with me - continually stating they did no have to do so because the trampoline was out of warranty.

I attempted, several times, to explain that I had rights under the Australian Consumer Law - and that any reasonable consumer would expect an expensive trampoline to last more than a mere two years (in fact we used it for under two years after all the delays with delivery - probably more like 18 months). In all honestly, I have owned several trampolines, and have many friends with trampolines. The jump mat on my childhood trampoline is still in working order. I've even purchased a second hand, decade old trampoline while living overseas, and passed it on to friends when moving as it was still perfect. I have never heard of a trampoline which such shoddy workmanship that it only lasted 18 months to two years. Actually that's not correct - I've heard of it now, after reading other Premier Trampolines reviews on this site.

The jump mat on this trampoline was not of acceptable quality as it was not durable or safe (in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law); if this issue had only happened to me I might put this down to bad luck, but it's clearly happened to other reviewers. Honestly I can't see how it could be due to anything less than shoddy workmanship and a poor quality product.

Premier did not even attempt to stand by their product, either - they simply dismissed my concerns, and were frankly quite rude to deal with. Clearly this is a pattern, as other reviews about their product indicate. People seem very happy with their initial purchase - and early on our product seemed fine, but if anything goes wrong, Premier appears to have appalling after sales service and is comfortable illegally dismissing customers by misleading them about their consumer rights (the Australian Consumer Law applies irrespective of any warranty offered with the product, and Premier has no right to refuse to deal with a customer because Premier's warranty period has expired).

My safety concern was very serious and did not deserve to be ignored. A trampoline is designed to be jumped on, by CHILDREN. If the mat surface fails and suddenly tears, with no warning - and this was a very large tear my child fell right through on jumping - that is incredibly dangerous. If you read through other reviews it is clear this has happened to other consumers after a similarly short timeframe. I will of course be making a report to Product Safety Australia, Consumer Affairs and the ACCC. I'd like to also note that the ladder does not attach in any way so is also very unsafe and could injure someone. Hugely unsafe product - honestly, read through the reviews of their springless alternative (now discontinued) and you'll see a range of very serious safety concerns. I really don't believe these trampolines should be on the market at all.

Other parts of the trampoline also wore out very quickly - the padding has nearly disintegrated, so clearly cannot handle being out in the sun or weather of any kind which, for a product designed to be used outdoors, is pretty ridiculous. When requesting a remedy from Premier all I requested was a new jump mat, but the matting is also very, very poor - easily not of acceptable quality, and not sufficiently durable, according to what a reasonable consumer would expect of such a product.

I've purchased a new mat from another company - who, I'll add, were a pleasure to deal with.

So far so good – Quick delivery. Easier to build than the Kmart trampoline my brother bought. Excellent bounce for the kids (& young at heart) with high quality padding and netting. Very happy we spent the money to buy a Premier Trampoline, confident it will last a long time but further re-assured by the fact that the 'Premier' range of Trampolines come with ½ price replacement part for life!  Show reply

they state anything after the warranty period is general wear and tear. Very disappointing that the mat seems to only last until just out of warranty. Clearly not a well made product! product looks sturdy and sound and of a high quality. The net is outside the padded spring area so unlike friends of ours who have trouble with kids running around outside of the netting we have the kids safely inside the whole tramp. The safely netting is well supported and it doesn't sag or drag onto the trampoline. Great communication from the company regarding shipping and I love that we can get replacement parts and have a great warranty. Highly recommend this company!

Disappointed – Unfortunately our springless 12ft trampoline did not survive 3 Aussie Summers as the springless mat and pad perished and on contacting Premier the best price for a replacement mat and pad was $288, the cost of a new trampoline! 2 very unhappy kids and now we have a frame sitting in the backyard as we work out what to do.

close together but anyway took a chance and one month in our little boys are loving this sturdy tramp. We are in a high wind area so it will be interesting to see how this holds up. So far so good though, it seems sturdy and well built and Santa had no trouble assembling it. My only gripe would be they don't sell the under tramp skirt net...having small kids who don't understand not to walk under it means we need to keep close watch on them which is a tad annoying. If they understood not to walk under there it wouldn't be an issue though!

EDITED TO ADD: Almost 12 months on and it's still in perfect condition. Boys have had the hose with bore water on it and golf clubs and trucks and swords etc and no rips or any problems. Still very happy.

Great product – Bought 4 months ago a premier 12 ft spring trampoline from the warehouse in North Geelong for our holiday house in Ocean Grove . We had a basketball ring added onto our order which was a great idea . This summer is going to be that little bit more fun now that we have this cool new edition to our backyard!
