PrepaidSims Europe & UK 12GB

Unfortunately my 15 old son was traveling to Europe with the school and then by himself. We bought a 30 days eSIM and had so many issues with connectivity. Sometime it worked sometimes it did not. Then bought a second eSIM card for 15 days and did not work at all. I got in touch with team and the back a forth was taking a chunk of time. Very stressful having to deal with while your minor is by himself.

The team kept saying if you told us before etc but you do not have to experience this they do not get it that a teenager won’t be dealing with this issue the way they expected

I do not recommend using this company.

I bought a couple of Europe 12GB travel SIMs from this company. Beware that they do NOT work in all of Europe. The SIM does not work in Montenegro or Bosnia despite them being European countries. Their site does not list excluded countries and only if you click around will you discover a list of countries they do work in. Unfortunately there’s no asterisks on ‘Europe’ or hints to check for this so I got burned and had to buy another SIM out of pocket.

I contacted their support email and received abrupt condescending and unhelpful responses and despite not being able to use the service they offered no remedy such as some money back. There wasn’t even an apology for the experience - they simply don’t care. Once they have your money that’s it. Lesson learned for me. It was slightly difficult using wifi to order an alternative eSIM because my bank was trying to SMS my Australian number to authorise payment (facepalm).

This company simply uses 3 / Three and you’d be better off going direct with them or another company altogether, rather than this terrible intermediary.
