Bad Work – WARNING. WARNING. WARNING. I had my main bedroom done by Pro Floor. Thank God l never had the rest of the house done by them. It was so unlevelled, patchy and unevenly coated. l just could not pay for rubbish work like that. It was so bad l had another company in to do the rest of the house and redo the main bedroom AGAIN. The second contractor did a fantastic job. The quality of the other company’s work was outstanding and I am so pleased. They applied three coats, Pro Floor only applied two very bad patchy coats. Do yourself a favour and get someone else.

Shoddy work – This is the third house we have had the floors stripped and polished and it is definitely the worst of the lot. Specifically: - the floor edges were incompletely sanded back and not vacuumed so now we have a 3cm strip of grit polyurethaned to every wall edge and paint under the polyurethane. - a skid mark was left by the worker with his black rubber sole boots after the first coat of polyurethane and he put more polyurethane over the top of it. When we complained he said it was unremovable but we insisted and 60 secs later, it was gone, miracle! but as it was in the layer between polyurethane coats we now have a darker patch because he put more sealer on top of the sealer and polyurethane that was not sanded back.

- Failed to putty a number of punched in nails despite being shown them after the sanding and before the sealer and his promise that they would be filled in

- When we made a complaint to the owner, he didn't turn up himself as promised, he just sent the same worker, the cause of the problems.
