Awful company. Every time I called them about our appointment the "appointment team was busy" and they kept wanting my number so they could call back. This happened on each of the 4 attempts to call. When I did leave my number they didn't call back anyway. I first booked with them via text at a time they gave. 2 hours after the appointment was due… Read more

they text to say they have to reschedule, they didn't care that I had taken the day off. After rescheduling the appointment they then text me 3 days later with their introduction text saying I had to book. I responded to the text saying I had already and gave the details. No response. I then got their intro email asking to booked, I forwarded the confirmation text they sent me and asked them to confirm that this time is booked. No response. Called "appointment team are busy" so left number, no call back. Investigation shows don't need these checks anyway if you are a current renters, only required before leasing, but they don't tell you this. They don't tell you anything really. Didn't end up happening so can't provide invoice number.

Harassed constantly to book an appointment with them, would sent them dates and times I was available within a few minutes of them messaging me only for them to book in a time I was not available and take weeks to reschedule. When we finally booked a time, they showed up 2 hours early when myself and my child were not even dressed for the day yet. In short, an awful experience, and would not recommend.

Failed to show up at stated time and day – Property Compliance Victoria is a commercial entity that provides forensic inspections of rented houses and flats. It sells this 'service' to real estate agencies and charges for its inspections. These inspections, according to PCV, include window coverings and locks, kitchen facilities, structural soundness, mould and dampness, heating,… Read more

ventilation, lighting, bins and laundry, toilets and bathroom. The inspections involve taking photographs of all interiors and exteriors of the property. These inspections are designed to make money for this agency. The tenant is not consulted or asked for consent to undertake these forensic inspections. Real estate agencies sell their rent roll information to PCV including tenants' email, phone and land address. Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal stated that these forensic inspections are not compulsory under the Residential Tenancies Act. Tenants are badgered into complying with the endless stream of text messages. The level of coercive control is offensive. My real estate agent stated that I should agree to have this forensic inspection because, in his view, this level of compliance is required under the Act. He did not cite the provision which states this. I reluctantly agreed to have PCV enter my property but did not consent to photographs being taken. A time and date was set. I took a whole day off work to prepare for this inspection. PCV did not show up.
