ALDI Protane Shampoo & Conditioner

Perfect product for dry or wiry hair – Age and dye is harsh on hair. Arganoil is a game changer, so I looked at this product. I had heard that the oreal product it imitates has some nasty chemicals, but this seems kinder. My daughter asked (twice) what I had done with my hair. This product is good!

Excellent – Great shampoo, cleans well and smells nice. Works exactly like Pantene, but the only issue with it is that when I try to foam it up and shape my hair into a spike, it will not hold. Besides that, I love it!!!  Show details

Don't use if you have eczema! – I've only used the conditioner & It's ok on my hair- unfortunately, when I rinse it out- it causes my eczema to itch like crazy until I use soap to clean any conditioner residue off my skin...

needed a lot more shampoo then normal, probably because it is sulphate free, but the conditioner felt really nice on my hair and left my hair moisturised. I blow dried my hair and my hair was soft and far less frizzy then normal. I give it 4 stars because the scent is just ok.

this product really works – Bought this on a whim when shopping in aldi. Thought it was a good price and worth a try for my thick wavy greying hair. It's fantastic. Hair is silky smooth shiny and manageable. Beats other products I've tried that are waaaayyy more expensive.

Holy grail product!!!! – I am addicted!!! So good, better than ANY other shampoo and conditioner I've used. Will never go back to the well known brands, can not believe the price! Love it!!

Awesome – My hair is thin and fine and the coconut shampoo and conditioner is wonderful. It makes my hair so soft, clean and stops frizz. Especially during the summer months as I go swimming at the beach every other day. I'm nearly out, please bring it back in the store.

age defence shampoo and conditioner - Awesome results – I bought this pair for my unruly, dry, frizzy greying hair because i'm at my wits end. Well i wasn't dissapointed, it's awesome from the very first time i used it it tamed it down and i've now been using it for a week and my crown is finally smooth.

Best value for money shampoo & conditioner – These products are great! I used to buy premium hair products and now venture to Aldi to stock up on the Protane range. I have oily, thick and wavy hair so wash it daily - these products cleanse my hair well, leave no residue, lift the colour, add shine and softness, and make it easy for me to brush, dry and straighten. To top it off, they are great value for money!

Surprisingly good - I'm hooked! – I have thick dry hair - hard to manage and with split ends - which take a whole lot of products to tame. Recently i bought the Protane Morrocan Argon Oil Shampoo and the conditioning mask and I have to say the effect on my hair was unbelievable. My hair was silky and fell in perfect waves. It was far superior to the othr Sulfate free and Argon oil shampoos and conditioners I had tried. my only difficulty is finding it again at Aldi's!

I will not be buying those expensive brands that say they do one thing but do the opposite.

My hair is wavy, frizzy and full of split ends, but after I used these products my hair feels luxurious.

I feel like one of those models in a hair commercial I just want to flick my hair at everyone so they can see and feel how amazing this stuff really is!

Fantastic product – Have been using Protane Keratin anti-breakage shampoo for several months & it is a great product, leaves my hair feeling super clean & healthy looking.I Highly recommend this product. Excellent – Loved it from the very first use of both the shampoo and the oil. Made my hair feel healthier, cleaner and shinier and the smell was very pleasant. Can only imagine the previous detrimental reviews were made by Aldi haters of producers of competing brands, because, on the whole, all of us (three families) found this to be an excellent product. The fact that it did not damage my hair and made it look, and feel, healthier.

Destroyed my hair – I used both the shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks but it stripped my hair leaving it dry and fuzzy. I also noticed an enormous increase in the amount of hair that was breaking or falling out, my hairbrush and the drain were full of it. Protane Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner – I have been using Protane shampoo and conditioner for a couple of months now and it's great ! My daughter and family are now using it also! I hope Aldi will keep this product to buy on a regular basis. I can also recommend Aldi skin products! Go and try them inexpensive, reliable and as good as other more expensive conditioner and shampoos

OK – If you have normal hair I think these products would be fine. They don't smell awful like some products can, very subtle, but they seem to be very drying on the hair. pantene I would guess from the packaging, but certainly not the same quality. The price is great. I like the shampoo, it leaves my hair nice and clean, and the smell is not overpowering. The conditioner seems pretty useless, I have oily scalp and dry hair, my hair is even dryer and frizzier after using these products.

Bad – I tried this shampoo and conditioner because my mother-in-law recommended it and said she thought it was just like Pantene repackaged. money on branded stuff if it is the same price. I recently went back to try Protane and it has been really horrible on my hair. I have tried to persevere and use up the bottles (only 1 of each) so I don't waste them and just today finally used branded stuff again because I had had enough. I am totally amazed at the difference. My hair instantly feels back to normal and I am never going to bother buying Protane again. I don't know if they have changed the formula but I'm not going to waste my money on it again. Cheaper when compared to brand name products that major supermarkets sell.

Worked well when I first tried it over a year ago. Made my hair feel horrible (dry, tangled, greasy, dull) and get dirty quicker.

No longer works on my hair and feels like it is doing damage.

Terrible – Don't get fooled by the price, this shampoo has been tossed out of my houshold as it let everyone using it with rough hair stripped of any natural oils. Stay away form this. Price Damages hair
