Bought this for a family member and was too embarrassed to give it to them – Total waste of money. Absolutely doesn’t work at all. Scam product.
Awful Product - Scam! – This is a terrible product. It’s billed as an “air conditioner” and it’s barely a working fan. It’s immensely overpriced for an evaporator air cooler and better options are available for much cheaper (Pretty sure none of them work). Their advertisements are slick and sensationalist and they worked on me! Don’t be like me, I beg of you… my 165$ could have paid for a month of A/C. Show details
Disappointing purchase – Not at all happy with this product. Very little cooling power and I find I need to remove filter & thoroughly wet hourly to get any cool breeze from unit. I can see it misting but it's not enough to wet the filter. Hardly able to cool the area you are sitting in let alone a room. Very disappointed as I was wanting to use this off grid in my van. Overpriced bad product – So overpriced. A ripped off. Hardly able to cool down beyond arm’s length. Cannot match up to a few we bought for less than $60. Don’t get hoodwinked by the ad on YouTube. Got conned by a 5 starred review on Google. Could hardly see the spray coming out from the vent. Can’t trust any other product produced by the company. False advertising should warrant investigation. In short, don’t buy. Show details
They obviously paid handsomely for those 5-star reviews – I bought one during a particularly hot spell in Sydney, but by the time it had arrived the weather had cooled anyway (welcome to my life). The ads, and the box, say it can cool down a room. Er, wrong. I find it is not too bad as a small, local fan, such as placing it next to you at your desk, but that is more to do with creating airflow. The… Read more
air it blows out is hardly cooler than what goes in. The notion that it can cool down a whole room is ludicrous. The instructions are in confusing 'Chinglish'. I was suckered in by those glowing 'reviews'. Don't you fall for them.
Don't buy, it doesn't work as advertised – It's a rip off! I have tried to contact the company regarding their product. I have sent several emails to their customer service. They do not respond once it has been delivered. Trying to cool a small room (babys) the temp remains the same. It doesn't really do anything. Very disappointed Show details
Not worth the money – Battery life is short. Does not work any where near as well as the information on the reviews I read. Certainly does not cool a room in seconds. Just a glorified fan. Show details
Qinux Airgo – Very weak fan - no better than a cheap hand held one. Unfortunately we bought two at Christmas 2023 $145 each believing their presentation. No luck trying to get a refund. Show details
Absolute Rip Off – I purchased 3 of these portable air conditioners on the understanding that they would cool down my rooms. Well they do not. This is a rubbish product. Don't buy this product. Show details
Very disappointing! – Way overpriced for what it is. It is no better than a little desk fan. It definitely can't cool a room down, I tried to use it for my bathroom, but even standing right in front of it, it has little cooling effect. When fully charged the unit can run up to approximately two hours without power. Show details
Historical letdown! Beware of this! – I purchased a Qinux AirGo online in January 2024 for $150 after seeing an ad on YouTube and numerous positive comments on Google. I started using it during an extremely hot summer in Perth at the beginning of February 2024, and it proved to be inefficient on my office desk. It's noisy and fails to cool down the room; the temperature remained at… Read more
30 degrees. Upon requesting a refund from Qirux, I was surprised to learn they only allow refunds within two weeks, despite their ad stating a 60-day refund policy. Save your money and avoid this product. If there were a zero-star option in reviews, AirGo would deserve it. I'm puzzled by the numerous 5-star reviews for this product.
Total useless Airgo rip of fan – Far too small, pretty useless, only lasts a couple of 2 or 3 after being charged. Unless its blowing directly on you it's pathetic. Unless you have it on say a towel it's rather noisy on high. As for cooling a room, no way unless its the size of a toilet Would I recommend it, no way at all I feel rather ripped off actually. By comparison I… Read more
purchased a small, 6inch caravan fan for $63.75, it does a better job & if I put a 200ml bowl of water infront of it the caravan fan is simply far better. After a week of using it, airgo fan,I put it in my cats outdoor house to give them some air movement. I give it 1/4 of a star rating, I give my 6in fan a 3.5 star rating if that says anything. $149.00 wasted, I will not purchase off this company again, heavily marketed because of the heatwave taking advantage of people's dire needs to stay cool, and your heads in shame. Wow coloured lights that flash gee that sure helped me stay cool, NOT !
Qunux Airgo nogo – These are not what is advertised, room temperature does not reduce 7 degrees, battery life is not 10hrs, in my opinion they are just an average fan. Show details
Falls far short of all the hype – The Qinux Airgo is quite stylish and well made, apart from that there aren't too many other positives. It's basically a glorified desk fan, a little evaporative cooler that is ok if you are sitting at a desk or table. It has 3 speeds, can be used with or without water, dinky colour lighting and, reasonably quiet but not the whisper quiet claimed… Read more
by the manufacturer. Also USB charging which is handy and allows the unit to be moved around. They claim up to 10 hours running time on the fully charged battery which seems highly unlikely given I got just under 2 hours on the maximum setting.
At $145 it's not cheap and sadly disappoints on most levels. There are numerous other cheaper brands on the market that are likely to perform to at least the same level. Save your $$$ and avoid this one.
