Don't trust them! – I received a quote for a Roller Door that I accepted & paid the required deposit. I was told it would take 4 - 6 weeks for installation. I have Depression & Anxiety so didn't call them until about 3 months later with nothing heard from them. I was told that the legal contract had been cancelled because the contract didn't make them enough profit! Show details

Poor workmanship, installation and LIARS – DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! BEWARE!! Terrible customer service and poor installation!!! This is the 3rd time our blinds have broken in 18 months and they refuse to fix them. They were installed using only 3 cheap screws despite their being 8 holes with NO rawlplugs. DESPITE THE WEBSITE STATING THEY WITHSTAND 139km.hr . The Ops manager yelled and swore at me on the phone blaming me for the damage and now the GM will not even speak to me on the phone and will only converse over email. Insurance won't even cover as they have assessed and deemed the damage due to poor workmanship. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! BEWARE!!

Quality blinds great service – We had a great salesman Michael take us through step by step the materials colours and procedures, he was very knowledgable. Do not use this company, high prices for poor quality work and service – A disaster from start to finish, salesman promises a finish that is not possible. Out of 3 blinds - 2 were incorrect and they tried to blame my husband on their mistakes. Remade 1 blind twice and still incorrect. the whole process. Still very unhappy with what I have, gaps everywhere!!. What they tried to give me in the first instance was disgraceful and I only managed to get a remake because I refused to pay for terrible quality. Once you sign the contract they have you! Even though what the sales rep [Name Removed] promised was not what was delivered. They said only a 5mm gap between blinds well more like 100mm. And to think they thought the short blind looks acceptable, who in their right mind would think this is ok. I would never go with this company again for anything!! Buyer beware!!

High priced product with poor service – I agree with other reviews. When it comes to price they are not the cheapest, and I should have done my homework more here, so that is on me. to do so. Installer came back and removed the blinds, but no product to replace them and no notification of time frame. I ended up emailing the company a week later expressing my disappointment with lack of communication, wanting to know when I would get the blinds installed. I also requested that the balance of $250 be waived as a gesture of goodwill. Finally got a reply from [Name Removed] the manager and my request was flatly refused and the blinds were then booked in to be installed the next day, with me having to promise to pay the balance to the installer.

Installer hangs the blinds again, this time with the bottom skirt on and I paid the balance, but when he left I noticed that the blinds had been installed incorrectly i.e. bottom skirt on one side of one blind and opposite side for the other (they didn't match). Called quickly to get installer back to fix (very easy for them to do, just turn a blind around), but I got a run around and ended up having to concede to have the installer come back on Monday (this was Friday arvo).

Sunday night got a voice mail message from [Name Removed] advising the installer would not be back as had COVID. That is it. That was nearly a week ago and no further communication has been given. I have to yet again chase them for information and get the issue resolved.

We have paid a premium for these blinds only to be treated poorly by a company that can not deliver a product on time at a competitive price. Do your homework, get the old three quotes, and if you do end up dealing with this company, get everything in writing via email (I am not saying you will get a response though). Lastly would I recommend this company to family and friends, well as you would expect NO!

20-8-2022_Update: Never heard back from Quality Out door Blinds to get installation issue resolved and after chasing up with them over a few phone calls I have got a date for them to come back and to the work. Again it is never about trying to make your life easier, but making their life easier in terms of availability. Good luck everyone, you have been warned though.

need to be at any appointment for our home improvement let alone the lady who called me and said they are happy to work late to accomodate us and send out their sales rep on the quote so we can both make decision on the spot!! She insisted that was their company policy.....Seriously?

Stay Away – Had the free measure and quote, buy 2 get 1 free deal and discount to sign on the day. For blinds that are locally made supposedly, delivery from China for apparently inferior competition seems to be about the same time. Once you realise you’ve been swindled you’ll only be able to reach them through an answering service and will lose your deposit unless you can negotiate a refund. Lost $1000 but would’ve lost more if I wasn’t persistent.

Get a couple of quotes from other companies and you’ll save mega dollars. Blinds should cost around $1500 for around 3m x 2.4drop, this mob charge $1000 a metre, no discount just cheesy sales pitch.

contact his boss as that’s not ‘how his company works.’ Returned to me after making a call and said he would discuss the product and then talk about the quote. He insisted my husband had to be there. I said he was busy and to talk to me. Refused to talk to me, no matter what I said and instead, left saying my husband can contact the company to reschedule. His boss then called my husband to share how angry the company was that he was not available to talk, as the appointment was made with him, not his wife. Disgusting sexist pigs...have never had a salesman be so openly rude to me simply for being female and refuse to give me a quote or discuss products. Would rate zero stars if I could.

this. They then got a ladder and reached over the fence to unlock it and let themselves in. After speaking with the general manager about how horrified I was about this he said they were told to use a ladder to jump over the fence (not true). I asked for a refund. This was instantly declined. I expressed my disgust and said I should read the reviews prior to signing up. In the general managers words ‘Don’t insult me if you can’t take it back yourself, I can be just as insulting’. I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional company who thinks it’s acceptable to break and enter someone’s property.

Then the salesman went to the car multiple times to grab tools, seemed very unorganised. My partner and I then had to help the salesman measure for our blinds! We had to hold the tape measure and write the measurements down ourselves on his pad of paper. The salesman then said ‘I’ll go to my car to get some things and then I will give you a presentation’. After two hours of him being in our backyard presenting the products, we were not happy with the price and let him know we do not wish to proceed with the sale. He had the eftpos machine ready to go which was an alarm bell in itself. We told him many times that we are not interested in the product, although he would not take no for an answer. He then asked more personal questions about why the price is an issue and asked how much money we have in our savings. The two hour ordeal was a huge sales pitch on ‘quality’ from a scripted display folder. If the product is as good as they say, they shouldn’t have to sell it to costumers for two hours. We will not recommend this company to anyone. Still traumatised by the lengthy consult and the fact that the salesman wouldn’t leave after we said we aren’t interested.

No empathy /sales team lie to get signature. family expense. Upon calling QOB yesterday my husband spoke to a salesperson who insisted we pay 20% of the contract price which was essentially the deposit we paid on 31/10/20. The man wouldn’t hear anything and said, “ you signed it”. This has now included extra charges to add another 300 dollars. For what in fact was a sales bust and a quote!! During this uncertain time with the pandemic worldwide limiting family connections (we have family in the UK) and employment being insecure surely QOB would understand the implications where financial upset has affected a family? We understand from [Name Removed] that QOB have been very busy with work as SA has been fortunate during the pandemic; those still employed but unable to travel have been spending money on home improvements. Could QOB share their good fortune with a family that have not been so lucky but do plan on using QOB in the future when finances are healthier? Sadly they can’t!! Not interested in the slightest!! Have even added charges on to our deposit, so we owe them more for absolutely nothing.. Stay clear of this company under any circumstance, don’t sign anything as they don’t care! They also inflate their sales price and use the old lower tonight rubbish!!!

I known that I would have stopped the home visit immediately. He would not leave any brochure or even the quote he scribbled on a alines note pad. I had to agree to a deal then and there or there would be no deal at all. Luckily his desperation for a deal right there and then waved a red flag. I searched Quality Outdoor Blinds and compared to the competition to find there are many other businesses selling this system and the so called 40 percent off was even more expensive than the regular price of a competitor

Customer service – Won't use them as they won't deal with my wife they said they needed a man home then they canceled my appointment and refused to take my phone call. Not happy looking for an alternative supplier.
