calling them to discuss all aspects of the mattress, we decided to try it. Long story short, we love our mattress! It came quickly and was easy to put together. We both love going to bed and keep saying "this mattress is so comfortable" I'm sure it has improved our sleep quality, which is so, so important to us. The firmness is perfect and at the same time it feels supportive, but comfortable and soft. My husband has broad shoulders (a side sleeper) and we needed a mattress with enough give, but good support. So far, very happy with our mattress. Hope this review helps someone else :)

Very comfortable from the First Night – Had the mattress for a month now and has been very comfortable from the first night. Great sleep too. Customer service friendly and accommodating and easily fitted in the back of our small SUV saving us delivery costs and packaging. Show details · 1

Never slept on a better mattress - ever – Where do I begin? (pros and cons) decided to bite the bullet with a latex mattress from them. Never even really heard of a latex mattress before! Result? From the very first night, best sleep in so many years and no leg pains which had troubled me when sleeping. Delivery was amazingly quick and easy from WA to NSW. I thought placing the three layers may prove difficult but it was okay when following the detailed instructions provided (as well as video) - definitely need two people as the mattress is heavy once three layers are placed. After a month of sleeping in our mattress, still as pleased as the first night.
Fantastic Mattress. Would highly recommend – We had a department store style $3000+ mattress for ten years which was ok. Once it finally died we tried a Koala mattress. soon as we tried it, so I was initially hopeful but the first 3 nights on the Quokka I couldn't bear to stay in bed my back was in so much pain, and I moved to the couch. The following 3 nights I persisted staying on the mattress, thinking maybe I just wasn't used to it, but on the morning after the 6th night I felt a distinct feeling of sagging and so I shuffled to the centre of the bed and found that there was already a ridge formed in the middle of the mattress - I shuffled across and UP. The latex did not recover when I moved back to the side - I moved back down into a dip. My partners side was sagging even more than my side, and he is longer and leaner than me, so it didn't make any sense that the sagging was from our body indentations. We measured the sag at about 1cm but after about 3 or 4 more days, we measured sagging on one side of our mattress was 1.7cm, the other side was about 1.4cm. This is only 3mm short of the warranty which is supposed to last 20 years, so I'm completely confused about how this could happen. I could only guess that this was a manufacturing defect and the sagging had been present from the beginning, why else would a latex mattress that is supposed to last 20 years be so closed to reaching a warranty claim after only 1 week?! But that said, it didn't make sense that the sag could have existed from the beginning because it got worse over just a few extra days. We contacted Quokka and they seemed even more confused than us. We sent them pictures of the sagging with the mattress assembled on the flat hardwood floor (to be sure our bed frame wasn't the problem) - the sagging was measuring exactly the same on the floor, and I even tried sleeping on it on the floor for 2 nights with the same discomfort. Quokka offered to send out a replacement layer if we could identify the problem layer in the 3 layer medium mattress, but all 3 layers were affected by sagging to some degree. This baffled us even more, because if it was a manufacturing defect, what were the chances that we would receive 3 layers of latex with this problem but the staff at Quokka claimed to have never seen this before in latex?? So baffling. The staff we communicated with seemed convinced the problem must have been our bed base - but as I've said, we tried it on a hardwood floor with the same result, and the latex should have recovered it's shape immediately, so it can't have been our base. Of course we sent the mattress back for a refund, which the company agreed to readily, but the return process of re-packaging the mattress was a real pain. I asked, but they never got back to me to tell me what they thought was wrong with the mattress, which I really wanted to know because I'd love to try a different latex mattress again but am now a bit concerned that it's a way over-hyped product....A couple of other things I didn't like about it were the smell, which persisted for the few weeks we had it while waiting for the return packaging. It also wasn't great for partner disturbance - sometimes I felt like I was lying on a giant wobbly panna cotta when my partner turned over. Pocket Coil innersprings are far better for reducing partner disturbance in my experience. These things would not have been deal-breakers if the mattress was comfortable, but Alas. So, it was a disappointing, frustrating and painful experience for me with the Quokka mattress.
absolutely brilliant – Thoroughly recommend these mattresses! I paid three times that for an inner spring fancy mattress that when delivered smelt strongly of chemicals and was as hard as a rock. Gave me back pains, dizziness and head aches it was horrible. And so thick and heavy too! The quokka latex mattress was so soft and comfy and no toxic chemicals and not heavy… Read more · 1

My Dream Bed – The mattress was fiddly to put together, but so worth it - most comfortable mattress ever, and great quality too! I did some research before buying and so happy I that chose Quokka :) 3 Years Later...I still standby this review! Real honest quality latex mattresses - doesn't get better!! – We bought a King 3-layer 100% latex mattress (medium) 2 months ago and we're absolutely loving it. We've both had bad backs from using spring mattresses and after a few messages with the people at Quokka, we decided on the Medium firmness option - where we also knew we had the option of moving the layers around to make it firmer if need be! after a couple days, we couldn't decide if it was too firm or too soft for us - so we kept it how it is!! Our back pain has slowly faded to nothing and we definitely can't see any sags or bumps at all - and really don't expect it to. The huge 20-year warranty is reassuring too. And we both love how it uses all natural and sustainable ingredients - pure latex, nothing else!! Our dream mattress at a good price. Thank you
