Quokka Beds Hybrid Latex Medium Queen Mattress

We have have had the hybrid mattress for 9 months, so I wanted to write a review about the things I was interested in before purchase: Smell: there was a definite but mild latex smell for the first week or 2. No big deal Weight: it is heavy. I bought 4 hardwood slats to add to the existing to get the gaps down to the recommended spacing. I also reinforced with 2 slat to floor supports. There have been no issues with the frame or sagging The edge of the mattress: it is firm and supports when sitting to put on socks etc. hasn't changed. It's good Temperature: I am a very warm sleeper. This mattress has been great. Not hot at all Comfort: it is insanely comfortable. Changes: there hasn't been any noticeable change to comfort, support, etc Pillows: we got both types, both great and still using them. Won't go back to other materials Value: I think this need is very good value as it's main competition is other latex models or Tempur. Spring mattresses just are not on the same level of comfort and longevity. Would I buy it again: absolutely and wish I had done so 20 years earlier. Final thoughts: I was tossing all night and woking up sore in my body for years thinking I was getting old and that's just the way it was going to be. Not anymore.

We love our Quokka latex mattress. I always try to get things chemical free and was thrilled to find a company that had chemical free latex mattresses and the mattress is very very comfortable, highly recommended.

I put this together with my daughters assistance. She's very fussy re mattresses'. No drama to set it up and NO chemical smell. As soon as we finished we both reached for a pillow for a bed completion nap. The mattress is so very comfortable and supportive. I've had fantastic sleep from night 1. Gone is the morning stiffness and no aches and pains . Thanks Quokka and I love the look of my floating frame. No more stubbed toes.
