for around 26 years and my employment was NEVER affected by COVID. Unfortunately, I am one of those people who have too many enquiries on my credit file, and I have used short term finance options - and why do I do this - because no one will help! Also does not help me that I have a compulsion that I need things now - so tend to look at alternatives to meet that need rather than save. I have no dependents and as I have said have no black marks on my credit file. They did offer $12K and what are you meant to buy these days with $12K - a second hand car that has 250,000 Kms on it, around 2006 in year of manufacture and looks like a bucket of ####.

They came up in a Facebook ad, and I thought to myself, hey why not, give them a try. So now I have another inquiry on my credit file that is going to reduce my score again. We now live in a world that banks etc only lend money to people who could probably afford to pay cash and not need the loan. The rest of us - well we have no chance at all.

I can say now that I have given up, really what's the point. I'll just continue to catch the bus. Oh, and when they want to call you and if you miss the call, you get a text message and a voicemail saying sorry I missed your call - um hang on - I did not call - I was waiting for you to call! But when called you made out that I tried calling you - very confusing! And also make out that they are doing you a favour by offering you $12K for a used car - have you seen the prices of used cars at the moment. I only found that out when I sent an email saying I wanted to close the loop - which again he totally misunderstood - wouldn't you think that if a potential customer missed a call, you'd try to call back.

I am just so tired of being treated like a piece of garbage. I understand that people don't want my business, and this hang up on credit scores now days means I will never get a chance. They don't take into account that you never miss any payments, pay things of early, have no defaults on your credit file.

In fact, I think they all get a kick out of getting your bank statements and trawling through everything on it and judging you.

So, no I am not overly impressed at all.

No Communication, No Response to Complaint Email - He is the Director – Previously had a great experience with Rapid Finance. Unfortunately not this time. No communication, then lied to. I don’t normally write reviews but after receiving no reply to my complaint email to Rapid thought I would do so. Now realise why I have had no response, according to replies to other reviews he is the Director!!

Good Experience!! – My experience with Rapid Finance was good, unfortunately let down but some slow communication. Though employees were very friendly and were happy to help with my needs for a loan.

Don't return calls poor customer service – Unfortunately was disappointed with customer service received calls were not returned at all left wondering why they rate well with others maybe but got a poor rep but still a return call would have been great
