Rare and Collectible DVDs

This so called store is a complete sham/scam. Once you make payment...that's it. I sent several emails requesting an update for my tracking number & they never responded once. I finally contacted my bank to reverse the charge. Just p*ssed, I was looking forward to receiving this movie.

The DVD I purchased arrived damaged with a large crack on the case and DVD. I reached out to Rare & Collectables and was told that I needed to return the DVD (at my expense) in order for them to ascertain that I was telling the truth! This reply… Read more

contradicted with their 'returns policy' on the website. The reply from David at R&C was abrasive and rude! I returned the DVD, over 1 week ago, however I have heard nothing nor received a replacement ( as stipulated on their shipment info ) This is not a rebuttable company - buyer beware!

The product I requested on June 6th with order number 4493 was sent to my e-mail address 3 times as the first half of the movie, as if mockingly. Moreover, the movie, which was originally stated to be 97 minutes long, was incomplete and censored. Despite the numerous e-mails I sent about this issue, they still haven't sent the second part of the movie. An unreliable, fraudulent site

Very Satisfied – I have been dealing with Rare collectables dvd now for several years now and if problem comes up I phone up David is only to happy send me another one. The only thing It takes about 2 weeks from Western Australia to get to me as I live f.n.Queensland and nobody can complain about that. Show reply

Don't buy from THEM – I put an order in over 6 months ago and just keep getting excuse after excuse. Have paid over $200.00. Am now going to ask for a full refund and might seek legal action if not forthcoming.

re: no communication – I had a similar problem. Ordered DVD on Sept 15 and have not received it as of Nov 4. Rang David who is putting a replacement in the mail. So don't email - RING.

Ordered and Received a TV series – I have recently purchased a TV Series from David. The Quality was really good, but one of the episodes was missing. I communicated with David and he resolved the issues in a timely manner, which was very much appreciated. For me it is the putting right that counts, so i am very happy with the service i have received. John from NZ

PayPal bounced, so nothing left but to request a full refund via PayPal. So glad I didn't pay by a different method. Bewildered and disappointed.

Don’t buy from them!. It’s bad quality – I wouldn’t even give this company one star. ( had to give them 1 because it wouldn’t allow me to submit details) The DVD “A mom for Christmas” stopped, skipped and then the voices were completely out of sink with the people mouths on the DVD. Don’t buy from them. I wish I trusted other negative reviews instead I trusted it because it looked trustworthy.

Downloads – I have dealt with David on several occassions and found him to be a friendly and approachable person. He has always helped me when I have problems

Awful – Movie did not play correctly, some picture then none, sound horrible and never responded to request for refund, did not care just took my money! would not trust this place.

Unsurprisingly, I've had no response from the contact email that Paypal give, or the one on the emailed order receipt, which are different. No communication – I have tried to contact these people and have had no reply. I paid for my DVDs on the 12 April and it is now mid May. No DVDs and no reply to my email regarding the delay Not happy.

Avoid at all costs – WARNING ALERT. We bought a copy of The Shiralee. The disc itself was of poor quality and it froze while playing so we do not know the films conclusion. No reply came when we complained several times of the fault. A great vanishing act has occurred. When playing the disc TCM (Turner Classic Movies) watermark appears. I wonder where these movies are sourced. Avoid this Company at all costs.

played alright - terrible copy! Can barely see the images as they jump and are fuzzy and foggy. The sound blips on and off. I realized I didn't get the professional dvd I was expecting but some kind of bad copy from perhaps a tv showing of the movie, or worse. Tried three times to contact [name removed]/Rare & Collectible DVDs. NOTHING. Next recourse is to report this to my Visa as a scam. That's what I call selling something under false pretenses.

Cheap Reliable DVD Store – I was unsure that this place was legitimate but I got all the goods that were ordered. All products are region-free and unavailable anywhere else. They also have international shipping & were able to deliver in a peak period in 5 business days, domestic shipping is just as fast. Third time I've purchased from them, and never had a problem.
