Ready Net Go

Overpriced and charges extra – They charged me over $600 to set it up. $30 of which was apparently because they needed to set it up but i set it up myself. I had already paid the $300 start few prior to this charge.
- Start Date: October 2019
- Contract Type: Month-to-month
- Data Type: Unlimited Data
Extremely poor and aggressive customer service – NBN connection type. Worked sporadically for over a month then completely non-operational. Customer service would not provide a solution and would not call on agreed times for resolution. The company will continue to bill and threaten debt collection for service that are non-existent. Find an alternative provider.
- Connection Type: ADSL/ADSL2+
Lies! – They don't follow what the ads states. Can't start my netflix without waiting for 20 mins to buffer. Download speed on steam goes to a max of 500kb/s. Bad Internet. Crappy download speed. Call them to resolve the issue, and they had to audacity to say that it's the NBN machine in the building's fault, not the provider itself. But they were right at one thing, it was my fault for choosing ReadyNetGo as a provider. Remember kids, do your extensive research before signing yourself to crappiness with crappy assistance.
- Connection Type: NBN FTTB (Fibre to the Building)
Slow services no after hours service – NBN speed advertised is no were near the speed delivered. Takes 20 mins for a Apple TV show to run. No after hours services. No nbn status service. Overall poor provider I would not recommend.
- Connection Type: NBN FTTB (Fibre to the Building)
Average connection speed – Signed up for a Tier 1 12/1 nbn connection and I find myself very disappointed with the quality of service and the connection speed. The modem that was provided was incorrectly configured which led to constant dropouts of the connection. Once the modem was properly configured the resulting connection speed was roughly 50-60% of the advertised 12/1. To top it all off, the ISP refuses to improve/troubleshoot the connection speed as it apparently falls within their 'acceptable' range.
I cannot recommend this ISP. If you're looking for a budget internet plan, look elsewhere!
