Do not recommend! – I really wanted to love this pram so badly but I regret buying the metro 5!!! Not worth the price, doesn't come with accessories. pram, i had to hold it level with one hand and steer with the other. After a few emails back and forth, initially being told i didn't set the pram up properly, we were sent replacement adaptors. We replaced the adaptors.. and still our bassinet attachment was tilted backwards. I sent another email and explained it seemed the bassinet was faulty with photos showing how unlevel it was still, i received a reply saying a replacement would be sent. Almost a month later... and we haven't received said replacement bassinet. My first email was sent 24 November 2023 and it is now 8 February 2023 with the issue still not resolved. I really wanted to love the pram and wished this was all resolved much easier.
We ended up having to swap over to the seat earlier than recommended and just tilted back as far as possible for when we have had to use the pram. Giving a 3 star reveiw as that attachment/frame seem good and the staff member who took over after the initial being told i had set the pram up wrong was helpful.
Ultimately, our pram we paid $949 for has rarely been used the ergobaby 360 mesh carrier has gotten a workout and is 10/10!
So far so good but a little counterintuitive – We’ve only just put our pram together. Also the handlebar is adjustable but again we had to google that separately. The only obvious button for this was actually the button that folded the whole thing in half so that wasn’t ideal. I’m sure we’ll get used to all the quirks but the setting up was indeed a frustrating process.
Now it’s all done though, it’s moving smoothly and the different components come in and out as needed with ease. Very nice, good quality pram. Happy with the purchase but perhaps the video and instruction manual could be clearer.

light grey coloured seating (previously had the khaki metro2) and am very conscious of getting it dirty from kids shoes etc. I contacted customer support who were unable to provide a date of pram liner restock. I’ve then had to purchase a cocoon that I can use as a liner instead in the black and waiting for it to arrive. The metro 2 had a liner with a leather flap on the end which was great and wish I could get the same now. However overall, love the improved break, frame colour in the black, and overall navigation. Always recommend Redsbaby and love seeing my babies grow with this brand! High chair included!

Pricing was affordable in the middle range of redsbaby prams. What makes a great selling point is you get both the interchangeable bassinet and the seat so you’re baby can comfortably transition when they start to grow.
We love our Metro 5. I don’t think we could have invested in a better pram.

Love the look but hate seat height – I love how this pram looks especially with bassinet, how neat it is and easy to maneuver. With the seat part on however, I feel it's set very very low. If I could buy an attachment to raise the seat to the height the bassinet I would. It would make so much more room in basket which is really restricted in this position. Hood doesn't protect from sun on bassinet and additional purchase has to be made for both bassinet and seat separately. main issue is with the wheel size and wheel compound. The giveaway is in the name of course; Metro. For city environments (shopping centres, smooth paths), this pram would be close to ideal. In regional Australia, I would say it’s largely unfit for purpose. I completely understand the benefits of smaller wheels, but in regional Oz, our paths are mediocre at best. Moving this pram over uneven ground and less-than-smooth paths is more difficult than it could be. I’d trade a little more control and comfort over supermarket manoeuvrability any day! The compound allows for little vibration dampening. Too solid. Why not air? At least then users could adapt their pram to the terrain. Also, I’ve had a number of occasions where the front wheels have jack-knifed. Again, I don't believe this would ever happen on smooth surfaces but on our paths, it’s problematic and at worse, unsafe. I literally don't feel comfortable using the metro outside of the shopping centre.
Handle is poor. I don't understand why pram designers don't take note of ergo road handlebars. The angle on the metro handle puts the wrist in a natural position making long walks more uncomfortable than it should, and most importantly impacts grip. Needs to be flatter - say an angle of 20 degrees instead of 45-ish or just round.
What I would love to see: A model called the ‘country’ which has slightly larger, air wheels. A more ergonomic handle, and a better canopy adjustment system. That would be perfect :-)
