Great pram
METRO⁵This is a beautiful pram and great value for the price. The handles did stick a little when assembling and it can be a little fiddly at first but great. The cinnamon colour is quite a dark rich brown, not bright like on the website, it also doesn’t look textured as pictured.

This is good. But a bit overpriced
METRO⁵Recommended from a friend. It’s a fair product but a bit overpriced.

Very smooth to drive.
METRO⁵Have been using it for just over 3 weeks now and have had a great experience so far. Really enjoying going out with the pram. Really easy to maneuver and looks great.
Only thing that could be better is, there is a bit of play in the bassinet. Depending on which end you place the baby, the bassinet tilts slightly towards that end which is a bit inconvenient because we want to place the baby at the end away from us so that we can see him while walking. However, this causes the bassinet to tilt and his head gets very slightly lower than his body.

City only: not for regional use
METRO⁵We’ve been using our metro5 pram for about 6 weeks now.
We live in regional Australia, so that obviously influences my thoughts and comments below. Firstly though, the pram is beautifully styled and well made (with caveats below). It looks good, but we also appreciate the minimalist styling that keeps the design relatively compact and simple.
My main issue is with the wheel size and wheel compound. The giveaway is in the name of course; Metro. For city environments (shopping centres, smooth paths), this pram would be close to ideal. In region
... Read moreal Australia, I would say it’s largely unfit for purpose. I completely understand the benefits of smaller wheels, but in regional Oz, our paths are mediocre at best. Moving this pram over uneven ground and less-than-smooth paths is more difficult than it could be. I’d trade a little more control and comfort over supermarket manoeuvrability any day! The compound allows for little vibration dampening. Too solid. Why not air? At least then users could adapt their pram to the terrain. Also, I’ve had a number of occasions where the front wheels have jack-knifed. Again, I don't believe this would ever happen on smooth surfaces but on our paths, it’s problematic and at worse, unsafe. I literally don't feel comfortable using the metro outside of the shopping centre. Handle is poor. I don't understand why pram designers don't take note of ergo road handlebars. The angle on the metro handle puts the wrist in a natural position making long walks more uncomfortable than it should, and most importantly impacts grip. Needs to be flatter - say an angle of 20 degrees instead of 45-ish or just round. What I would love to see: A model called the ‘country’ which has slightly larger, air wheels. A more ergonomic handle, and a better canopy adjustment system. That would be perfect :-)Purchased in .

Hi. I bought the metro lite and it's just arrived. I know you have sold out of the newborn support but I was wondering if there was a universal one you would recommend that fits as an alternative. I did see in the booklet it has a wedge as well as head support and liner. Is the wedge so it gives a flat surface for a newborn? Would you be willing to email the specs so I can look for an alternative?
